I drove 30 minutes and arrived 10 minutes before closing and they had people inside. I am pregnant women and I had cravings for the bread and the lady was rude and didn’t let me in. She saw me running to the door when she was about to lock and didn’t care. She said it’s policy of the owner.

Be aware Found a hair that belongs to an animal inside the bread, it seems like it was some cat hair.
This is not the bakery they used to be
Cuidado encontre un pelo de animal , era de un gato adentro del pan.
Ya no es la misma panaderia de antes

Delicious bread
They say open 5-7pm
Drove over 20 minutes arrived at 6:40 and lady was waiving from inside saying they're closed. Mind you the racks are still full of bread it's not like they ran out. Never again

The bread and bolillo are good. But the truth is that it seems a little expensive to me.The bolillos are good, but sometimes they make them very small, they are mini bolillos.

I ordered a large order of bread for a funeral. The truth is, the bread was very good. Right after it came out they delivered it to me. All the guests liked it. Thank you so much!

I only rated 1 star for some of the fresh pan dulce, some were to hard yeah its been there awhile.the tamales are way over rated, not enough meat and too much maza, but did acually have a good flavor. Not worth the $27.oo ,and the menudo, well, not good, it was watered down, the the menudo had no great flavor as advertized. The menudo you can tell it must have been from last weeks, it was way too soft and a wierd texture to it and too much juice and not enough meat, oh yeah but a ton of homminy. Nope, not coming here again, i'd stay away from this place, but i had to try it ,someone told me it was sooo good, ah no it was soooo bad. Lol ! I wasted $54.00 here

Nov 2023. This place is still a 3 star. I give them 3 because they actually had tamales the day before Thanksgiving. But man their tamales were whack. I don't know why my husband brought tamales from this place again. They aren't worth it. Too dry.Nov 2022 I came here because about 6 months ago we got some tamales on EBT. Recently though their EBT machine has been down for months. Months. I don't know if it's really down or if they just lost their privileges because of selling hot tamales. Thier bakery items are ok. They aren't super fancy or look very delectable. They just look average. I feel that the quality looks better at Cardenas. And when we did get the tamales a few months ago, they were kind of whack. The only reason we were debating getting them again is to save cash since we got them on EBT. But if we did have to pay cash for them, I would not buy them.
