This is my favorite Indian (another within blocks) place to eat for lunch. They've got an awesome lunch buffet and garlic naan is delicious. They've got a wide assortment of vegetarian selections too. Tell AS IF you read this on google . He'll get a kick out of it!

Best place to grab something when in a hurry. The service is prompt, pricing is affordable, great vibes. Will come visit again
We actually went for the Jamaican Food, it's great. There is also a small shop/pantry .

The lady there was not very friendly...I almost felt like I was bothering her...like she had better things to do than take my order. Now understand, she might b getting ready for the dinner crowd but I just wanted to try their food. Anyway, I ordered the curry chicken w/ streamed rice. I ordered the smallest plate bc my daughter is picky. She just sighed at me like I was being cheap. Then I asked about the macaroni salad - "Is it homemade?" "Yeah... Small or large?" "Small one", I said. Glad I did bc it did not taste homemade...I could have bought it at Stater Bros!! The guy who gave me my food didn't seem to want to put it in a bag but eventually did- small paper. And the box didn't fit so it ripped the bag-I ignored that. And then it seems like he was going to turn it on it's side which would have caused my curry sauce to run out the sides. So I grabbed it, and said thank you!! Hope the curry dish tasty. I'll update this after my daughter eats it later!!

Amazing! Best restaurant in Oakland. The service is unmatched and the food was spectacular. We had the Caesar salad, lobster bisque, filet mignon and twice cooked lobster.
