Outstanding food and service, we were there for a birthday celebration, as we have experienced in CA restaurants do not do anything special for birthdays. Don't expect anything special anything for celebrations and you will not be disappointed.

The food and service were excellent and our server, Blake, was really outstanding. Made our dinner memorable and very fun. We highly recommend a presumed drink at the bar. Patrick makes delicious and unique martinis and is also outstanding for his mixology and great personality! The salmon and steak are our favorites.

Food, as always, was excellent! No complaints there. Service, on the other hand, was just OK. We were here to celebrate our 53rd wedding anniversary, which I noted twice in my OpenTable reservation. But the restaurant did not acknowledge the occasion. This oversight was very disappointing, and took at least 1-2 stars off this review...

Took forever, 40+ minutes, to get our food. Their excuse is the dish we ordered takes longer. But no advanced warning about it. We sat there like an idiot with my kids crying hungry. The waitress only checked on us once, 30 mins after we placed our order. Food is good but not worth the wait and not cheap. We were put right next to the kitchen. Extremely noisy and dark. Unless you can get an outdoor table, don't bother coming here. To avoid any long wait for your food, just order pasta or salad.

My husband I had a wonderful date night at Modo Mio! The ambience was lovely, our waiter very attentive and the food absolutely delicious! We are including this restaurant in our favorite top 3 and will be back soon!

My friend asked about the grapes in a particular red blend. The server went and brought the manager (owner?) over. Ended up having a long discussion about the vintner - really enjoyable.

I was more than disappointed. We have been to this restaurant several times and always enjoyed it, but it was extremely dark and dim the veal dish that I ordered I do not believe was veal it was not tender, it was kind of stringy so just not good all around too bad because it's very close to our residence. Next time I will drive a little further to assure a better meal.

We go to Modo Mio whenever we are in the area for many reasons: The food is always great! The service is always prompt and courteous. The bartender always knows what they are doing! The prices are more than fair given the quality and quantity of the food. We had another wonderful experience and will return as soon as possible. Shout-out to Nicole, our server, who was a delight despite an adjacent table that was cranky.

Our table in the patio was perfect because there is no problem hearing conversations! Our dinners were delicious. I must add, this time my husband and I both thought the pasta side dishes were overcooked, not like our last visit three weeks ago. Just a timing issue we think.
Excellent menu and tasty food. Only complaint was that after our bill came, I realized I'd forgotten to use our discount card but was told “use it next time” - snotty and inappropriate!!

ALWAYS EXCELLENT ITALIAN FOOD WITH FRESH INGREDIENTS, AND GOOD FLAVORING. AMBIENCE IS VERY PLEASANT WITH VIEWS OUT TO SEA FROM ACROSS THE PARKING LOT IN FRONT. IN DOOR AND OUT DOOR SEATING. ONE OF MY FAVORITE PLACES TO DINE WITH PLEASANT CENTER TO WALK AROUND AFTER DINNER.

Another wonderful dinner at Modo. Salmon was delicious. Gordon, our server was fun and very accommodating. Saw Phil, the unbelievable owner, Who does and will do everything from talking with his clients, which he loves doing , to serving if needed and last night clean up a wet floor in the ladies room! It was the 2nd time we'd taken this couple with us and they completely enjoyed everything. Ron

Had a rather long wait even with a reservation. Didn't expect that on a Tuesday night. Our server was exceptional! The food was fabulous and I took some home, as usual (portions are huge).

Firsts thing to know is that the parking lot is jammed packed on a Tuesday night for a 6:30 reservation. Had to dual for a space. Sat inside and it is very very noisy. Can hardly hear the person across from you. I am not hard of hearing. The guests at the table next to me made the same comments. the tables are close together and tight for the service staff to get between them. Food is great, the price is right and it was one of the few restaurants that offered a last minute reservation at 6:30. I wonder why? Kudos to Gordon, our food server. He has great personality.
