First time here and let me tell you guys! Mos def a gem in the SB area! The food is really tasty and mother approved. Those who know my mother she is a hard pleaser as she is a bomb authentic Mexican chef in the kitchen and she was very pleased. The huaraches and chilaquiles are amazing! BUT what I liked the most was their CAFE DE OLLA!! OMG!! STARBUCKS WHO!? (AND IM A FAN OF STARBUCKS) Highly recommend.

Ehhh-- food wasn't all that great... more of a take out place vs sit in ... may try again but only Bc it's close to home.

First time coming here, its not located in the best area in town but most good food never is. I ordered shrimp mole enchiladas and a champurado. It was so good, lots of flavor. The girl that served us was really friendly with a welcoming smile. Definitely will be going back. They also sell these cute Frida Kahlo aprons. The inside is nice and inviting.

My husband and I go after Church on Sunday at least once a month and love this restaurant. Great family run place with great authentic food. He gets the menudo with all the fixings and is hooked. I get a sope. Look forward to our next visit.

Does the thought of Sopes, Huaraches, Enomoladas, Enfrioladas, Chile Rellení³s or Sopa de Fideo (just name a few) make your mouth water? Then this is the place for you! The food here is authentic AF. The plates are so delicious and very homemade. Their salsas are awesome especially the Chile de Árbol. We had the Chicken Flautas and they were a meal in itself - done just like in CDMX. We also had the Enchiladas Verdes and the green sauce was incredible. The enchiladas were generously filled with chicken too. We also had a bowl of their Sopa de Fideo which was also very good. Actually it was awesome! I'm going to try and make my sopa de fideo like they do here - they kindly gave me their recipe.

The quesadilla, in my opinion, is to die for! The hand-made tortilla with Oaxaca and cotija cheese and lettuce totally made my mouth water. Quesadillas are my go-to food whenever I don't know what I want, I just know I'm hungry. The service was great considering my family and I were the only ones in there. The location itself needs a little work but if I'm in the area again, I would definitely come back.

Does the thought of Sopes, Huaraches, Enomoladas, Enfrioladas, Chile Rellenós or Sopa de Fideo (just name a few) make your mouth water? Then this is the place for you! The food here is authentic AF. The plates are so delicious and very homemade. Their salsas are awesome especially the Chile de Árbol. We had the Chicken Flautas and they were a meal in itself - done just like in CDMX. But, if you want truly incredible, authentic Mexican food, this is place for just that. This place is new and family owned. The service was outstanding. Please do not hesitate - this is the real deal for authentic Mexican Chilango dishes. Your taste buds are in for a treat - you will not regret it.

We just ate here as its close to my home. We were not disappointed. The food quality was great and the portions were a good size. The prices were fair for the quality and great service. They have handmade tortillas and tortilla chips to go with great salsas. We will be coming back for sure.

I shouldn't even give them 1 . Just came back from this place .. my enchiladas were good and my husbands chiliquiiles were ok. But they charge 7-9 $ for a bean and cheese burrito and it's thin and flat . I ended up paying 21$ for 3 burritos. I would never come back here again . Seriously people if you need Mexican food in SB don't come here go to el taco Loro ... these people will rip you off ....

Hidden gem! Customer service is great. Immediately after walking in we were treated with a welcome. You can definitely tell everything here is fresh and homemade. The area is sketchy for sure and from the outside you might be hesitant to enter but don't be mistaken, the food is delicious. I had the pork short ribs in green chili sauce with rice and beans. The pork was so tender, rice flavorful and fluffy, and the beans... well took me back to my childhood. Flautas made with two homemade corn tortillas overlapped and rolled up to make one giant flauta. Aquas were delicious and not to sweet. Over all, we'll be back!
