I showed up today for court hearing on my name change process. Room S31. The assigned Judge was Stephanie Thornton-Harris. I was the last in there for the morning session. Kind of feel like it was God working. She asked why I wanted to change my name. I said if you want a sad story and have time I’ll speak. She said if I had anything I wanted to say or get off my chest I was ok to speak. So I did. Have a little bit of reason why. She sat in her throne and gave me encouragement, words of wisdom and was very respectful and caring of my feelings as I broke down a little a cried. This is exactly how our court system or any law system should be. Compassionate and caring. Thank you Judge I appreciate you and your service.

Two separate entrances, one is for "outside court" and the second without a long line is the general lawyers and self help line. Security screening including metal detectors in place with wanding Security. Staff seemed friendly and willing to help. Overall a decent place to conduct business. Parking will be faster across the street in the overflow parking lot. You'll see people crossing the street. Filing lawsuits is the 3rd floor in the civil department. 10th floor are for scheduling hearings. You cannot file small claims here. Thats only in fontana court house. Only 15k plus lawsuit here. Also bike racks available if peddling into court.

Veteran in Texas that can't obtain employment due to negligence in their ability or lack their of, to process background checks. The VA works faster.

From security check, kiosk to the court proceedings, this court house is no joke and operates in a very efficient manner. The staff from all levels are friendly, resourceful and extremely proactive. I can tell they take pride of the work they do there under a strong leadership. The only downsize is that their e-filing portal is very limited on the types of cases or motions that can be processed online. Unlike other court houses such as LA or Orange County where a wider range of cases can be filed electronically.

Very nice looking courthouse. Plenty of parking, on-site and across the street annex, is available.Jury duty folks.need to walk past the long outdoors line and straight through to security, then the jusy assembly room on then1st floor.

Seems like you're never here for good reason whether it be civil or criminal but beyond that the building is actually laid out with simplicity of mind. So you don't get lost and you can find your place you're supposed to be at right away. Plenty of video screens with dockets and cases outline anywhere to go. Staff is always nice and security are diligent in their task but pleasant and respectful at the same time.

Cara Hutson is the reason that Deputy Isaiah Cordero is dead. Remove her from the bench. Before she gets others killed.

They canceled my court date several times with out mentioned me.... the judge denied several times my request because the other person decided to be defiant and no show to court... also with proof on hand the judge decided no to listen to me... but wen the other person did no came prepared the judge postponed the court to other day to give the other person chance to bring everything....
