Looks can be deceiving indeed. This small unassuming place has delicious delicious delicious food! I've never liked tempe until I tasted theirs. I especially love the spicy fried tempe, kale in coconut milk and OMG the potatoes are amazing! Dont know how they make it but simply amazing. Every single person I've taken to here has become loyal customers. Crazy good. Beef renadang was a little sweet but still quite good.
This is Indonesian home cooking, like going to grandma's if your grandma was Indonesian! Everything's so mouth-wateringly delicious. Large number of vegan dishes. Big portions, good prices. The no atmosphere IS the atmosphere!
