My brother invited me to this place on Sunday, and that will be my last. It took over an hour to get a bucket of beer and an order of wings. Busy or not, this is unacceptable. When you host a game, properly staff for that event. When you waitress, don't keep taking orders till you're over your head. $16 after tip for overcooked wings. I've never been to a place like this that makes you pay and tip before getting your order. I would've never wasted my money on food that looked like this, but I wasn't willing to wait another hour for a refund.

Special Thanks to Sandra...the waitress at the Derby room this past Sunday. Even though The Derby Room was extremely short staffed and packed to the gills with 49er fans, she was still able to get the order out hot and fresh and still smiling. Even overwhelmed by the amount of order...she still did a great job. I will definitely be back and hopefully Sandra will be our waitress again.

Service is so bad, I have been here 3 times for Niner nfl events and the customer service here is so horrible, they take over 20-30 min to take your order and about over an hour for crappy food. Eat before u come here

I followed the Derby Room's Instagram after seeing that it was the home of the local 49ers fan club. Didn't get the chance to get there for a game, but I did see that they advertised several times in the past week or more that this was the place to go to watch March Madness (the NCAA basketball tournament). So I decided to give it a try. As I walked in, I noticed that all of the TVs were tuned to horse racing. I get it. They offer off-track betting so this is how they make money. The lady at the front desk asked for a $5 entry fee, which is fine...no big deal. But then I asked if they would be showing any of the basketball games, to which she replied "no." No offer to change any of the channels or anything like that. I wouldn't have an issue except that they posted 3 times in the past week saying to come watch the games there. I was planning on having lunch and a beer or two and enjoying the games. Honestly though, the smell of smoke was pretty strong in there so I'm not sure the food would've tasted that great. I'm guessing that I'll never actually find out.

(Translated by Google) For fans of the 49sf and the Raiders, it's great to watch the games and get rid of stress(Original)Para los aficionados de los 49sf y los Raider esta buenísimo para ver los partidos y sacar el estrés

Talk about poor management. These hard working employees should be splitting their manager's pay. This place should invest in a new manager and make some profit. Horrible experience

They tend to favor the Raider fan club over other fans. If ur a Niner fan they’ll throw u outside during Raider games and refuse to change one of their many tvs located inside to non Raider games. Don’t know about you but I’m not playing second fiddle to no one, my money is just as good.
