Bob was the best bartender ever she is a girl and she made us feel very welcome at the establishment. The cook was Ken he was super friendly. I read in a review that this was a gay bar .... sorry to inform ya'llThat there was NOTHING GAY there.There are bikers but they were also friendly and inviting..we DEFINITELY will go back.

Great bar. I was passing through, but will try to stop there again. Great people!Bartender was awesome. I had the hot chicken sandwich. Pool tables are nice.
Just want to say The Wooden Nickel is a great part of my history. I grew up in area and left in my 20's but I have GREAT memories of this place! Thank you for still being there and next time I make it out that way, I'll stop for drink!
