I ordered a shrimp boil, the flavor was not it! This is not a true Cajun boil.

I would just like to say if you’re truly looking for a spot that is a boil and looking for a butter base sauce. This is definitely not the place if you’re looking for true grilled oysters, I would not recommend it neither other than that that’s all I can say

I recently had a fantastic experience here. The food was not only delicious but also arrived promptly, just a minute after placing our order. In an era where quick service is a rarity, it was refreshing to find a place that exceeded expectations. I’m definitely looking forward to returning for another enjoyable meal before we head back to North Carolina.

1st time their and overall experience was just AMAZING ? ?. Found this spot on tiltok and decided to take the family of 6 out for Valentines. They were short staff but the waitresses & cooks were getting the job done. 5 of us ordered the combo2, 1, 7, 5 with the cajun, Supreme, ultimat sauce all mild while 6th member ordered sides. Spent over $400 got 2 free crab leg combos. We also ordered all the wings, lobster Mac N cheese, garlic noodles & oysters and they were delicious. Omgee the food was better than Shaking Crab. 10 out 10 for sure on the food, service, & atmosphere. My family and I loved it. We are definitely going back.

01.15.2024 - Crawdaddy for lunch. I've been on a crawdaddy craze for the past...I don't even know. There aren't that many good crawfish boil in the city, but still, we decided to give this place a shot. Interior is very clean and roomy. Located in the shopping center so parking will never be an issue. Service was really attentive and friendly. With a variety of options to choose from, not everyone in your party is forced to order a seafood boil. This is really good as it can cater to a different crowd simultaneously. Husband got the lobster Mac and cheese. He enjoyed it but it was more on the heavier side. I got 3lbs of crawfish with their mixed seasoning, extra spicy. Also ordered garlic bread to dip. The seasoning tasted good. Very garlicky, just the way I like it. But it was pretty "pasty." What was the most disappointing part was what should have been the star of my dish: The crawfish. It tasted like all the flavors from the crawfish were boiled out. It tasted like boiled water. It was pretty awful. Although they were big in size and had meaty tails, it didn't have any taste. I think it may have been frozen for a long time and they pre-boiled it in water before boiling in the seasoning. Since it's not too far from where we live, I wanted to love this place, but I probably won't be back. My search for delicious crawdaddy in the city continues.

Came here for a team work anniversary, and it was the best experience for a team outing in the last year! Service was great - the staff was super friendly despite the table of Cajun newbies that showed up and was making a mess everywhere. Chill vibes with good music too! We mostly got the seafood boils - I'd personally recommend the Dungeness Crab the most. Very good size and super fresh. Food came out pretty quickly, and the sauce is amazing! I'm a big spicy eater, and the "spicy" option felt very easy to handle personally. For sides- get the sausages!!! Would definitely come back again!

Great food and friendly service. * disclaimer * Seafood is based off your own palate and what flavors you like. The ultimate sauce no spicy is my favorite with the green mussels

Kiddo turns 14 and she has always loved Shaking Crab in Daly City so we decided to try this fairly new Cajun boil place in San Bruno. Total was $137.31 and service was delightfully attentive. Food came out super fast as well. The restaurant is spacious and clean but I think the music was too loud for my liking because I had to raise my voice in order to have a conversation. We ordered: Seafood garlic noodles $17.99 The portion on this was so small and almost completely flavorless #6 combo: crab + shrimp + clam + lobster = $79.99 You can choose 3 sides and ours was corn, potato and hardboiled eggs. Our sauce was super ultimate medium spice level but it also lacked good flavor. Enough to feed 3 though. The best was Shrimp Tornado $26.99. I would advise that you get a spicier level. It comes with fries tossed into the mix and a HUGE AMOUNT of shrimp!! There are also lots of crispy bits in the mix which I kept adding to the garlic noodles to improve the flavor. This was by far the best dish! There's another reviewer who compared Cajun Bowl to Shaking Crab and I have to agree that Shaking Crab is way better. Sorry Cajun Bowl. I appreciate the excellent service here and on a stormy Saturday afternoon, there were still plenty of people who came to dine in so I guess it all depends on your personal preference

Came here for dinner and we tried: - Shrimp seafood boil with super ultimate sauce (which is a combo of all their sauces, cajun, garlic butter, and lemon pepper) - the shrimp was big and juicy but the sauce wasn't good. There wasn't enough garlic, Cajun seasoning, and butter. The sauce at Shaking Crab in Daly City is 10x better - Lobster and shrimp mac and cheese - this dish does not have enough cheese to be called mac and cheese. The majority of the pasta was not cheesy, instead it was just covered in a Cajun sauce. They should call this dish lobster and shrimp pasta. - Cajun fries - for $7 they're very skimpy on their portions. Fries are good but portion is not enough to justify $7. Go to Shaking Crab instead. Everything we ordered was a miss. There's definitely better seafood boil places out there, like Shaking Crab. This review sounds like an ad to promote Shaking Crab but I can't help but compare the two since they're closed proximity to each other and Shaking Crab is so much better.

Not bad, but not the best! Service: very nice and attentive Cleanliness: hmm, I saw a medium size bug on the floor. Food: average Grilled Oysters: 6/$20 - the oysters were so small, not worth the price SEAFOOD: Snow crab legs Combo which includes shrimp, clams, and crawfish (these come with 2 sides) the seafood itself is fresh, but I'm not the biggest fan of their sauce. It's super THICKKKK. I also recommend not ordering their combo, I feel like they only gave 1/2 lb crawfish and shrimp when it's supposed to be 1lb.

This place gets the job done when you don't want to travel all the way to San Jose for Boiling Crab. I've done both dine-in and takeout from here multiple times. Most times I get a pound of shrimp (super ultimate sauce, medium spice) with a corn. But I've also shared a seafood combo with other people before. I like how the seafood comes with a side. I usually get corn with mine. And we always order a side of cajun fries and garlic noodles to share among the table. The people who work here are friendly and the service is fairly fast. They always have my takeout order ready just in time for when I walk in and the food is always hot by the time I bring it back home (which I guess isn't too far away, about 10 minutes). The only bad experience I've encountered was one takeout order where I ordered 6 bags of shrimp, a pound each. Of the 6 bags, there were 3 bags with at least 5 shrimps that were partially black. We weren't sure why some of the shrimp bodies were black. We ended up throwing them away which is a shame but we brought it for a family gathering and it was too far and too much of an inconvenience to drive back.

My husband, daughter and I decided to celebrate Valentine's Day at Cajun Bowl. This restaurant has become one of our favorite restaurants to eat seafood. Today was extremely busy and had to wait a bit longer but IT WAS TOTALLY WORTH IT! The food is delicious and the service is great. Although it was busy tonight, the servers managed to keep calm, work FAST, and provide great service. You all did an amazing job. Thank you for good food and great service.

Came to eat here with my family for my birthday. It was good but I guess I gotta make sure next time on spice level since my food was a bit too spicy for me. The lady's working there were so nice and even gave me a free bday warm chocolate cake and ice cream and played a cute birthday song. It's a casual place but pretty busy but they made sure to give us great service and food. The appetizer lemon pepper shrimp, garlic cheese bread and dungeonus crab were very good.
