I had to write a review because the food was just that good! I’m currently staying at the Villa Montez Hotel, which is such a gem. This morning, I woke up late and hungry, craving some brunch. I decided to call El Camino Corner after browsing their menus online and ordered the grilled chicken breasts with two eggs over easy, hash browns, and a side of strawberries.
When I arrived, the waitress immediately knew who I was, which was such a sweet touch. She asked, “Are you Isabel?” and when I said yes, she told me my food was about ready and asked if I would like anything to drink. She then opened the order in front of me to make sure everything was correct before closing it back up. She was super friendly, made pleasant conversation, ensured I had all the utensils I needed, and asked if I wanted any sauces and gave me hot sauce packets. I also made sure to thank the cook because the food looked and smelled amazing!
Once I got back to the hotel and started eating, I was impressed. The hash browns were crispy on the outside and soft, almost like mashed potatoes, on the inside—absolutely delicious! The grilled chicken was cooked to perfection and had so much flavor, and the eggs over easy were done just right, with the yolks perfectly intact, running beautifully over the hash browns. Adding some Tapatio hot sauce made it even better, and the fresh strawberries and water tied the meal together perfectly.
This was, without a doubt, one of the tastiest brunches I’ve ever had. I was more than satisfied and had to give El Camino Corner a well-deserved five-star rating.

I got the chicken and waffles and was extremely disappointed. They gave me chicken thighs mixed with buffalo wings and it was clearly not not what I ordered. Over cooked, dry, tasteless and only battered on one side. I will not be coming back I hope they can step up and at least serve what they post on the menu if i would of gotten 1 decent piece of chicken It would be OK but $24 later I left with 3 pcs of canalope.

Great little diner with a beautiful outdoor seating area. The food was delicious; it was a great mix of typical breakfast choices, with some delicious healthy options and Filipino favorites. Definitely recommend!!

I'm a Burlingame native. I know from breakfast spots. (I'm Christie's, by the way.) Camino Corner is a great little place. Perfect spot to have your morning coffee and a nice breakfast. I recommend their hashbrowns. They do them right. Great service.

Came here for a late 10:30am breakfast based on other reviews. Maybe I caught the cook on a bad day but the food was nothing to write home about. The sausages I got tasted like leftovers, the hash brown were average but at least the eggs were ok. On a positive note, the service was very friendly but I will not be back.

This Camino Corner! Serves an excellent breakfast. Excellent hospitality, excellent service. As soon as you walk in, you smell the Aroma of good food. You can always tell when they have good food once you step in the door. 5 stars plus 10 more. Keep up the good work. I had the sausage and the scrambled eggs with hash brown. The hash brown is so delectable. It's crunchy, but not too crunchy. It's not salty. It's great, I really love hash brown. The eggs are scrambled to taste and the sausage.I don't know where they got their sausage from, but it was delicious.Thank you.I will be returning with friends.

I actually really like this place and couldn't figure out why it wasn't busier. There was parking available, the restaurant was clean, and the food was good. But then it came time to pay the bill and they include an 18% automatic gratuity. 18% is less than I normally tip. And I'm an old fashioned old school former restaurant worker. So my tips are always cash. I was thinking to tip $20-25 since the service was just average for today and not average 20 years ago. But if you're happy with 18% taxed vs $20 no one (the government) knows about, that's fine with me. I don't mind the tip box for people to check. That's great for people that don't know how to double the tax for a standard amount. But automatic? This was about to be our new breakfast spot until this. It's like the server that doesn't look away from the screen when you're selecting the tip amount.

Small Modern interior Diner, has outdoor seating with a gazebo. Very friendly staffing and quick service, a casual place to eat and did not feel rushed. I ordered a waffle with all of its add ons: strawberries, blueberries, bananas, chocolate and also whipped cream. The waffle size was bigger than I expected and a mound of whipped cream and toppings. Very tasty and well made, but not worth the cost of 17$ after tax. Each add on is 1$ -1.50$ most dishes here range from 10-15$ without anything extra which is cheap. In my opinion I believe there should be a combo for a waffle with these add ons included for much cheaper. There is a waffle special with includes a waffle, eggs and sausage but still would have to add on extra if you wanted the fruits. I would visit here again but probably not add on as much extras as I did today. Its a very small parking lot which is for other business also, but there is also plenty of street parking.

Excellent service, great food- portions were way too big for me to finish but really yummy. Sat and read my book, could’ve stayed for hours. Staff is super thoughtful but also leaves you alone if you want to take your time. Nice spot, clean, and the fresh OJ is worth every penny. Highly recommend. Patio looks great too!
