This location is just not the best. The staff is friendly, and polite which is great. However, this location does not carry the silk almond ice cream option, which is very disappointing. I have been back to this location several times to be told they don't have the silk option. They have advertisements on the front window of the store for silk almond ice cream but none in the store. This is very disappointing, and not inclusive at all. If you seek dairy free options this is not the location you are looking for.

I used to love Cold Stone when they first started out. The whole idea of the mix-ins was cool and new. It's been a while I had them and was good to get some ice cream from here on a hot day. It's still good and went fast. Chocolate ice cream with almonds and brownies in a waffle bowl!

Is it legal for a cold stone to refuse a customer entry to the bathroom that is adjacent to the seating area? Because the last handful of times I've been there (While waiting for my ice cream to be served), I've asked to use the bathroom since I have a long trip from work to here, and they always say no. Their reasoning? That it is for staff only. Ice cream is delicious, but this seems a bit fishy to me.

Went in today and the person helping us gave us the tiniest samples when asked to try a new flavor. Once I ordered my ice cream I ordered mix ins and he gave us the smallest amount possible - there’s barley any mix ins and he left one out all together. I asked for mini chocolate chips and there are very few compared to other times I have ordered the same mix ins and he just left out the almonds all together. I guess they are trying to same money by giving out a laughable size sample ( like picture the sample spoon but they only dip the smallest corner into the flavor then wipe off any that might be hanging over the soon onto the carton) and using half the amount of mix ins. Will not visit the tanforan location again

I got the "Love It" size which is basically a medium. The ice cream I got was the Chocolate Devotion which consist of chocolate ice cream, chocolate chips, brownie, and fudge. I also added Reese's peanut butter cup to it too. If you're in the chocolate mood this is the ice cream for you! The Cold Stone is also located right in the food court of the Tanforan Mall. This so many different varieties of ice creams and toppings here it's hard to choose.

I usually come here a little bit after noon on a weekday. Guess everyone is still eating lunch. It's not too crowded at all. I always get greeted with a friendly smile. I'm always out the door with my "Gotta Have It Strawberry Blonde" pretty quick. Thank you for your quick, efficient and friendly customer service.

We were welcome today by an enthusiastic guy, that prepared 3 ice cream at perfection, we have been eating cold stone everywhere in the Bay, but this guy give us the real experience he also make tricks with the spatula and the ingredients.
Very good selection of toppings they had everything I needed to make my favorite ice cream combo. It's a small location and gets pretty busy but it's totally worth it. Very nice lady's working thank you guys

Cold stone is dropping the ball today. We’d been promising our 5 year old coldstone for days. Finally my bf and I had the day off together so we first went to the Daly City one on junipers Serra. Closed. 5yr old melts down. Bf drives us all the way to San Bruno coldstone. Closed. This one at least was nice enough to have a sign that said “closed today”. The one in DC was just straight up dark and we ended up standing around waiting for them to open for 20min (they said they opened at noon, we got there at 1230 and stood outside for another 20min). So frustrated. My poor kid is so sad.

I made an order through the grubhub app to pick up and not have to wait and not wait in line, the app informed me to pick up at 7:55pm I arrived at the staff and asked cim to get my order that I asked for by grubhub, she told me I arrived too early and I had to wait 20 more minutes, the online orders were created to facilitate and not waste time on lines, I pay more on my order just to not lose time on lines
