This place was recommended to us by a gal we met at Newel’s Pub. Save yourself a headache and stay at Newell’s. The music in this place was serious heavy metal being played way too loud, plus, there was a group of three men at the bar playing some dice game. I have nothing against dice, except when they slam the cup on the bar for every roll. This got old very fast. Most of the people kept to themselves with the exception of one young man who was here on a business trip from England. If you want an enjoyable experience at a local dive bar visit Newell’s.

Absolutely marvellous! I’m from London , I bumped into this pub on my last day in the Bay Area. Great friendly people & bar tender is absolute gentlemen. Pop in to this pub if you are in this neighbourhood for some drinks!

I came here to kill a little time before checking in to my room. Even as an outsider, woman and alone, everyone treated me just like fam. Highly recommend this place. It’s the perfect dive bar and service was great.

This local dive is a neighborhood favorite. Awesome friendly staff serving up very reasonably priced beers and spirits. Locals are friendly and engaging. Although the Doghouse does not serve food they welcome food brought in from various other vendors encluding one right next door.

Awesome hole in the wall bar... Total vibe for drinks and a great place to chill and watch sports
Walked in to the first bar that looked like a place a could hang for a couple hours before being at the airport several hours early.
Never having been here it felt like it was the place around the corner. Everyone was friendly, selection is solid, great atmosphere for conversation and a few beers

I don't really like to give poor reviews but this place really deserved. I went yesterday around 730 pm I was there for about 1:30hr.Order first round tequila shot, then a margarita and was 36 bucks no problem here after the lady Nicol was closing everyone at the bar bc she was leaving then came someone named Darcy and with her I Order 2 colors and charged me with $42 and when I confront her about the price she told I drink 3 beers. Wich was completely wrong I always count what I drink for same reason like this. Besides all this she pushed me out of the bar bc I told her to correct the amount.2. Is that the tequila I drink was casa amigo blanco (usually drink the bc it tastes smooth) and I will highly say that was not the right tequila I ordered. (Diferent taste, and it's alcohol taste was like one of the cheapest they have. I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO VISIT THIS PLACE AT ALL.

I was here for a brief moment. Saturday April 27, 2024 just had my sister inlaws birthday bash. The facility closed at 11 so the party continued to the "Dog House". It was pretty busy with ppl outside as well, but nobody was loud drunk or acting a fool. Nice place to chill, have a few drinks, and congregate.
