Dine in here since they changed ownership. Price and portion are reasonable. Foods came out hot and tasty.

Been here a few times service has always been really good the food was really good no complaints, the noodles are really silky no ammonia smell or taste, wontons are meaty the wraps weren't soggy, the roast duck had crunchy skin and really good duct taste not overly fatty. The price is the price it's 2025 going on to 2026 we got to keep these local businesses up and running and trust them for their due diligence to prices out in a fair manner... thank you for the good lunch today guys! Happy holidays and happy New Years!

Fat Wong's changed owners, the menu offerings have changed. Still a canton congee place. They don't make rice rolls anymore. My favorite was the breadstick wrapped rice roll (jaa lerng). No longer available, big bummer. Their rice plates are just as good as before. Egg and shrimp over rice was good. Their new offering, Hainan chicken rice, was just OK. The rice tasted acceptable. The chicken was closer to white cut chicken than hainan chicken. They have a special for Hainan chicken for $10. As a discount Hainan chicken place, it's still acceptable for the price, but don't come here with high expectations. Basically come expecting a reduced menu offering. Most other things that still exist taste mostly the same.

The special Hainan Chicken rice is good. Also the beef brisket with turnip is also very good but the portions are kind of small.

Didn’t recognize most items on the menu. Ordered all sorts of stuff, noodles, dumplings, wonton, and everything was really good. Great price and great spot.

Decor from outside and inside distracts from goodness of food. Priced reasonable.

It's where the old Fat Wong used to be.
The food is okay. Fried foods taste like the oil hasn't been change for a while, not fresh. Had beef chow fun. They didn't have fresh fun noodles, used the dry type that needs to be soaked in water. Their Hainan Chicken Rice was tasty and good, overall quality and taste were okay. Don't think will need to return. It was better before as Fat Wong.

We started coming to the original Fat Wong back in 2012, and it was always packed with guests until the pandemic hit. Unfortunately, everything changed during COVID. We visited the new restaurant that took over the same location, but it was a huge disappointment. Even something as simple as the 皮蛋瘦肉粥 (century egg and pork congee) has lost its original flavor, and the congee is no longer the traditional Hong Kong style we loved. I think Fat Wong now only exists in my memory.

I’m so impressed by the food and the price. Everything is delicious and authentic. The pictures from 100 years ago of the old Canton/Guangzhou makes me feel nostalgic.

We've been coming to this place for years especially after our flights arriving back to SFO. Fat wongs offers simple delicious Canto style dishes at reasonable costs. I always ordered the main staples such as beef chow fun, wonton noodles, braised beef shank and tofu, plus the crispy fried donuts. Comfort food at its best. A bonus is they accept credit cards now.

Go there for the food and do NOT expect good service. Staff has absolutely NO clue to the understanding of customer service, especially the Asian kid with black frame eye glasses.

Thank god for the change of ownership. Service is better, but the food is not that good now with a new cook.

The curry beef brisket was delicious. It was tender and delicious. The design of the restaurant is also so beautiful. Overall, the food was amazing and the design was beautiful.
