I’ve never waited 60 min for the first dish to arrive at any other restaurant… the waitress messed up because I saw her reorder on her iPad and went to talk to the chef… then they proceeded to add a service fee… they also double charged the table beside us lol

Automatically charged me 15% service charge. Then on the receipt still want me to add tips. There is a tip guide on the signature receipt page and the calculated tip is based on subtotal, tax and tip. So this restaurant demands you to tip for the 15% service charge and also tip for the taxes!

Food is good but they include 15% service charge on their bill without disclosing this information on their menu.
I don’t think this is legal. I will consider reporting this to the state consumer affairs. California state law prohibits restaurants charging undisclosed fee.

When food is normally cooked as other Cantonese restaurants, the service is very bad. The dining environment is also below average Cantonese restaurants. Except small table and very narrow spaces between tables, the noise level is very high. Also they charged tip for some of customers and asked tip again when paying credit card (see photo). At this point of time, I don’t know how they decided who gets tip charged and who doesn’t. My gut feeling is they may charge the tip if you are not Cantonese speakers. Or they thought you may not tip them. But in any case, customers should be informed and should not be asked for another 15 to 20% tip. The good thing for me is that I paid attention to the receipt and didn’t give them another tip. But I am unhappy with this and will not comeback. I left at least 15% tips in all cases for all other restaurants(even the Poke store). I don’t like this restaurant’s practices of trying to get double tips.

There are so many places with the same name so dunno if they're all related. Anyway, food is ok.

I have been here since they have first opened here and I usually stop by when I am craving for some authentic Chinese food or if I just so happen to be in the area. Sometimes there can be a wait, but that does not bother me since I am a very patient person. Their menu consists of many authentic Cantonese dishes, along with soup, noodle and other specialties. Everything is made to order which is always a plus for me since it is quality over quantity. And their portion size is more than enough where you might have to take to go. The staffs here are welcoming, well trained and understanding where they provide good service and I had never encountered an issue during any of my visits. I recommend this place to all Chinese food enthusiasts, if you are willing to try something new or to anyone that just so happen to be in the area just like me. I definitely will be back to tryout the other delicious options they have to offer.

Came here at 5 pm. There are plenty of open tables. No wait. Just like the one in Chinatown. They are known for their rice porridge. They make one of the best rice porridge out there. Plenty of parking. They accept credit cards. They have that wok flavor that many other Chinese restaurants lack. Whether you have Hong Kong Style crispy noodles, Dry Beef Chow Fun, Salted fish fried rice, or rice porridge, all of them are excellent choices. XO rice noodles are my favorite. A hint of 🔥 and spicy.

We came here for dinner, and ordered these dishes: H.K. style beef chow fun, Water spinach with fermented tofu in broth, Pork liver with ginger and onion, and Hainan style chicken.
Everything tasted great, and I highly recommend trying the Pork liver with ginger and onion! I don't see this dish on other restaurants' menus, and they did a really good job preparing it. They got rid of the bloody smell from the liver really well, and the seasoning was spot on. The texture was tender and slightly crunchy, and it paired perfectly with the ginger!

.....damn good eats at this joint👍........
My mistake coming here. It's terribly small, tight, so they put you anywhere humanly possible but not comfortable. I sat right next to the cash register and could hear all the waitresses' conversations. You have to flag down people to get some service, and when food finally came, it was disappointing. Vegetables undercooked and raw, noddles had no seasoning. Not coming here again.
