Great food. Delicious. Mediocre service but is expected at these types of establishments.

Terrible service. I went 30 minutes early and they said they were already closed. The waitress is very rude and doesn't warn you about anything.

This is not a ramen place but it’s the best congee place! This place is authentic!

Always a quality meal for a good price.

I called to put in my order, 2 items- one congee and one beef chow fun. I was told it would take 25 minutes. We went to pick up after 20 minutes, the congee was sitting there and I was told chow fun was not ready yet. So I was standing with the people who were also waiting for their food. Because of the traffic, I needed to move around in order not to blocking anyone. At one point I was standing by the small table facing the kitchen. I was able to look into the kitchen and see all the actions. I was daydreaming a little thinking about all the YouTube video that I saw about Hong Kong street cooking. Then I heard two of the waitresses laughing and talking to each other-“she thinks her food will come out faster by looking at the kitchen.” What?!? That is how they treat their customer??? During the whole time I was standing there, I saw them trying to pass a dish that was sitting around (unwanted???) to another table. Lucky for that table, they refused to accept that dish too. They giggled again when the waitress returned the dish to the same corner. Finally after 1 hour and 15 minutes, I got the beef chow fun. My observation is that they don’t care it should be first come first serve.

Located near Luckys and Lowes, this is a neighborhood hole in the wall. It’s not an Ichi Ramen (shown in the front of the restaurant) as they just never spent the money to replace the sign. Being said this place gets packed fast especially on weekends. It’s a great spot for rice porridge and other Cantonese comfort food. Guess don’t judge the book by its cover 😉Tried the pork rice congee (hope I spelled that right) and the beef stew clay pot with both the regular and sweet Chinese doughnut. Enjoyed the tender pork and thick porridge. Beef stew was also very tender and savory 😋 I say check it out.

Vegetarian options: They have lot of vegetables to choose from nd it was cooked good. But the service is bad..and the wait is long even theres not many people around. Waitresses talking loud. There wont be no second time for me.

The food here is delicious, but the atmosphere feels a bit cramped. Service could be more attentive. Be aware that the bill automatically includes a 15% service fee, even for small groups of two, and they still ask for additional tips.

They don’t really respect or care customer they pretty much just want to take your money and then kick you out of the restaurant as soon as possible no mater you are dine in or just do take out.

This place is always busy and the food is Chinese. Ordered braised string beans with ground pork and teriyaki beef fillet with mushrooms. The flavor is from the old Hing Lung when it was in Chinatown
