Can’t leave a very good review since the breakfast was really nothing special: raw hash brown, overcooked bacon and eggs not really tasty. Pancakes were all Right but not superb.. the French toast was hardly eatable and extremely overpriced (2enormous pieces of bread with some butter for 14$). I went to ihop many years ago but I have to say it’s not as good as I remembered. Service was good tho!

The staff at this branch are wonderful! I took my summer camp group this this iHop, the manager told me they don’t usually take bookings but him and his team when out of their way to accommodate us. From the moment our group set foot into the restaurant to the moment we left the team was attentive, friendly and accommodating. Our very big order was ready and waiting for us when we arrived and the ingredients were fresh and tasty! This experience was amazing and the staff here are amazing

Great place to eat. Belgium waffles are delicious and service is friendly. Pleasant dining experience. My only very slight criticism is that I would welcome a bit larger serving portions. Highly recommend!

Went for breakfast. Pancakes were delicious, as were the eggs & hash browns. The Pepsi, on the other hand, was not! There was a nasty after taste! We thought maybe it was the ice, but after drinking our ice water, we found it was not the ice. Other than that it was good.

I eat breakfast at IHOP often, so obviously, I like the food. So, I am commenting here on the employees, service and atmosphere at San Bruno IHOP. Today it was very busy when I arrived but I was seated within five minutes. I was seated where I could see lots of interactions between the employees - wait staff, bussers, chefs, manager. All seemed to enjoy working together and I sensed a tremendous spirit of cooperation between them. Not only was my own waitress very pleasant and accommodating, but other employees who passed by my table smiled pleasantly at me; even the manager took the time to ask if everything was to my satisfaction. As stated above, it was very busy and all were working very hard while maintaining their senses of humor and helping one another. It is this kind of atmosphere and service that keeps me coming back.

The young lady that served me was very good. I definitely enjoyed the spinach mushroom omelette. I’m not sure if it’s because this IHOP was on the West Coast in San Mateo, but they definitely did not skimp on the mushrooms, spinach, and hollandaise sauce. Also, the breakfast potatoes were very crispy without being burnt.
