L&L Hawaiian Barbecue

Its great utility bbq. Don't remember the dish, but it came with 3 meats. Super tasty and large portions! Could have easily split it with my daughter. Would go again.

Always check your bag before you leave. They forget the sauce 100% of the time

The food was what ever not anything crazy. But the service was horrible the lady threw the money into my hand because I was questioning why they had an atm inside and not a card reader. Like if we aren’t in 2025

Taste great, the garlic tilapia

The dining room remains a bit dirty. After people eat, they don't clean it up. It is unappetizing to eat at a dirty table. It is best to take it to-go. The fried tilapia $14 is what I got this time. That tasted OK. I had the BBQ chicken earlier last month. That was not good. It had a rubbery skin and it was hard to chew. The fried tilapia fish is much better.

Cash only in today’s world? There should literally be a law against this since it wastes people’s time.

I know all locations are different, but this one definitely isn't the best. When I walked in, the woman at the register was very friendly and polite but there was a sign That said cash only and they had an ATM which was fine. Minor inconvenience.

I ordered spam musubi and garlic shrimp and then went to the bathroom while I waited. The bathroom was dirty and did not have any hand soap. They had a big jug of hand sanitizer on the front counter but they should have soap in the bathrooms.

The spam musubi was okay, but the garlic shrimp was not cleaned at all! I was literally scooping fried poop from the shrimp. The shrimp was way over cooked and I just couldn't get over the fact that they split The back end of the shrimp but didn't clean it.

In other locations the food is fine. This one, I do not recommend.

I’m new to the Bay Area. One of my coworkers recommended it. It did not disappoint. The size portions for the money are crazy. You get a lot of food for under 20 bucks.

Like all L&L restaurants, they all provide a little (lot) taste of Hawaii. This location is clean, convenient, and friendly. The staff are really helpful in selecting an option and the food here is made quick and fresh. A must stop if you’re craving a little taste of home!

Good plate lunch. Huge portions. Laulau was overcooked but chicken katsu and Mac salad was bomb!

They could do better. Their chicken katsu and spam musubi is sufficient. The first time I had their cheeseburger, I was impressed by the freshness. So naturally I ordered it on my second visit, but was unfortunately disappointed.

The burger was wrapped in a burger wrapper, placed in a container with hot fries, the placed in a hot and tied plastic bag. I only had a 10 min drive going home, but the burger look whooped. The bun was smushed in all different directions, possibly due to the plastic container it was it. It was super soggy due to the way it was packaged. The lettuce was so soggy that when I bit into it, the whole thing just pulled out of the burger. I should have taken a picture of that mess:

I’ll prob’ give them one more shot, but request the burger to packaged separately and not in a sauna.

The cashiers I engaged with were kind, prompt, and worked with urgency. Yesterday though, the lady seemingly paused her AirPod on a couple occasions to hear me better.

Very good protein plate

After visiting quite a few times I’m changing my review. The last few times the Katsu has been bad. It was overcooked, hard, old and refried. The Garlic Mahi was dry and flavorless. Not good!

One of the worst places, the guy on the counter acts like here was the last place in the world to eat, I asked for extra Sriracha and the vent inside my bag of food, I'll never come back here 😤
