The food tasted OK at Little Vietnamese Bistro. There were two other parties when I ate here at 6pm on a Thursday night. Slow night. Food arrived shortly after I ordered. The chicken papaya salad $15 was drenched in fish sauce. It was a wet salad with a lot of nuts and shredded steamed chicken. The little pieces of crunchy dried garlic was a nice touch. It would have been nicer if there were more herbs like Thai Basil, cilantro or mint to make it more fragrant. The side of five spice chicken $7 looked dry, but it wasn't. It was juicy inside with a light coating of spices. At other restaurants, the skin can be rubbery. Little Viet Bistro cooked this correctly.

You can order in Chinese. The staff spoke fluent Cantonese to customers and Mandarin among themselves. Good job everyone at Little Viet Bistro.

Excellent pho, noodles, and vietnamese entrees with many great options for vegans/vegetarians and meat-eaters. They serve generous portions and there are many things we didn't get to try - so we will definitely go back again!
The staff was friendly and efficient.

I am a black man. The chef, the manager, whoever he was in charge made it very clear.
💁🏾‍♂️he didn't care to have my business.
I will happily spend my money somewhere else‼️‼️‼️🤗‼️‼️‼️

Ordered pickup for my family this afternoon and we were blown away by our dishes. The garlic five spice chicken noodles were impeccable. The curry soup with chicken was scrumptious. And the barbecue pork rolls were to die for. We will definitely be coming back again.

Average, which means above average for SF area Viet food. Serving size is generous size bowl on the vermicelli but the pork barely has flavor. Can’t say the wait staff was all that attentive but food came quick. Tables are all bunched up together so it gets noisy and chaotic when there are several at each table. Would return in a pinch but plenty of better Vietnamese restaurants in the area.

Great vegan options. Fresh, delicious food with friendly, fast service. Will definitely be back to try everything on the vegan menu! The vermicelli noodle salad with egg roll was exceptional!

Easily my favorite vietnamese restaurant in San Bruno.

5 spice chicken is great, beef is always cooked very very well, and the portions are generous.

We usually get take out and it's incredible. Finally ate there and it was even better.

I should have left when I saw the menu was in Chinese. This is not a Vietnamese restaurant. The employees don't speak Vietnamese. It's not Vietnamese food. The com tam was the worst com tam I have ever had. The don't use broken rice. The pork chop was tough and grizzly. I can't recommend this.

The vegan vermicelli bowl is to die for! It definitely has become a staple for me in the Bay Area. The staff is also very kind too

WOW, this place is a hidden gem! Casual mom-and-pop atmosphere and decor, affordable prices and HUGE portions! The bbq pork vermicelli bowl is phenomenal, they sauté the usual crushed peanut topping in garlic and sprinkle on fried crumbs from their egg rolls, it's delicious! Also, the egg rolls are homemade and twice as big as the standard finger-sized one is you get elsewhere. We are definitely coming back.

Lovely mom and pop Vietnamese restaurant, but with nicer decor and ambiance. Very clean and relaxing atmosphere as well. There’s always this one
middle-aged lady and younger lady that are always present on weekends when we go, and our experience has always been consistently good; fresh and tasty entrees with good portions. Not super attentive but very helpful when asked. Just the way we like it.

Our favorites are the noodle soups such as the spicy beef and pork noodle soup (bun Bo hue), and rice or vermicelli variations of five spice chicken beef or pork. They’re all fabulous! Go a few doors down to Societea Teahouse for dessert.
