I had 2 pieces of bread and a tamal, for $12. Both pastries were dried and had no taste and did not feel fresh. The tamal was the worst part, it was dried, the flavors were not balanced. I honestly did not know if it was chicken or pork. Very, very disappointing and way overpriced for the low quality

Very disappointed with the quality of the quesadilla Salvadoreña. Never again.
OK, so here’s the reason why I’m giving this place 3stars. first time I had their tamales It was so good, we came back for seconds and thirds in the one sitting. I’ve been back 3 more times and it was not the same, after so many tries I won’t be coming back anymore. I’m a bit disappointed the taste, the flavor is just not consistent! It’s not bad but it’s definitely not what it used to be. The service is nice and there is some seating space inside the shop
I like that they are opened early mornings.
Sooooooo tasty!!! I ordered a whole box because life is beautiful. I am so happy with all of the pastries!!! Thank you for baking amazing treats. I love the banana bread, croissants, conchas, cookies, and cake! I ordered one of everything!!! Yum yumm yummmm. Can’t wait to eat more tomorrow morning with my cup of coffee :)

Fraudulent and scamming.
I recently visited this restaurant for the first time was passing by and decided to get my usual and had a deeply disappointing experience that felt like a complete scam. I was charged $8.50 for an egg and cheese sandwich on a croissant without any meat, and an additional $2.50 for a coffee. The total came to approximately $14, including tax. Shockingly, the tax alone was almost $4.
To put this in perspective, throughout the Bay Area and San Francisco, similar items typically do not exceed $9-10, including taxes. The fact that they wanted to charge me almost $4 just in taxes is outrageous and feels fraudulent.
The most concerning aspect is that the restaurant does not inform customers of the prices before they order, nor do they have a price list posted anywhere. It felt as though they were arbitrarily making up the prices, which is highly deceptive.
Additionally, despite my service dog being clearly marked, I was rudely questioned about my dog's license. It is not only inappropriate but also illegal to ask for documentation for a service dog, as clearly marked service animals and their owners are not required to provide any documentation. The staff needs to evaluate and retrain themselves, ensuring they are educated and knowledgeable about the services they provide and the questions they ask service dog handlers.
I do not recommend this establishment. The pricing is inconsistent and feels deceptive, and the customer service is abysmal. Be cautious if you decide to visit.

I purchased a box of pastries on Sunday, April 28th. I asked the cashier if they were all freshly made that day, and he assured me they were. However, upon opening them, I found them to be dry and old, which was embarrassing since they were intended as a gift for a visit.

Ricopan impresses with more than its delectable pastries; it stands out for its remarkable community engagement. Each visit feels like a warm embrace, highlighting Rico’s role not just as a bakery but as a community pillar. Their commitment to giving back is evident, making every bite of their exquisite desserts feel even sweeter. Ricopan is truly a beacon of both culinary mastery and community spirit.

We stumbled upon this bakery after dinner down the street and I'm so glad we did! It's a wonderful place with delicious cookies and my husband loved his mango empanada! The prices are so affordable and they had a great selection even late at night!

Really nice folks. Friday @noon, of the four types of tamales on offer, only two types remained available, the others were sold out for the day. And yes, they are kept warm in a steamer. Take note, they are only available Thurs-Sun.

Nestled right near SFO International Airport. RICO PAN! Delicious sweet bread indeed. Guess what? They also have tamales from Wednesday to Sunday. I am a returning customer. The main street also has many other boutique shops and delicious restaurants nearby.
