I met the owner of this place while doing rideshare. At the end of the trip he said, “Since you got me home safely, come by my sandwich shop and I’ll have my people hook you up.” His staff was just as friendly as he was, and the sandwich tasted even better than I expected. My recommendation: turkey and salami with lettuce, tomato, and pickles on a toasted French roll with garlic sauce only. The taste isn’t something to die for, it’s something to live and stay alive for. Thanks again, Mr. Roma. 🙋🏾♂️⭐✨

Worst sandwich ever!! It cause me gas and very heavy. And it just doesn’t taste good. Too much flavor and not organized in the sandwich itself. To the point where you can’t taste anything.

Super friendly and welcoming staff! Had the bacon and turkey deluxe sandwich on a Dutch crunch roll. Bread came toasted and meat and cheese melted. Was going to save the other half when I saw how huge it was but I shamelessly devoured the whole thing. Cannot wait to be in the area again. Highly recommend.

Great food in a casual and enjoyable environment. The dining area on the side is cool, shady, and had some upbeatusic playing. The sandwich is fantastic. Very large! I had the NY on dutch crunch with everything and I could only finish half with the chips and Gatorade. Highly recommend this place. Cool and casual vibes with a great sandwich!

This one of the best delis in the whole Bay Area. They have a nice and friendly staff. The service is very fast. The sandwiches are huge and tasty. I love the turkey supreme on sourdough. There bread is top-notch. If your ever in the peninsula stop by for a great sandwich! Thanks Roma Deli!

I had some time to kill before checking in at the Hotel Aura, and the lady behind the desk suggested this place. It's a long two and a half block walk from the hotel for a 80 yr-old person with a bad back, but I was glad I did it. The man who took my order plugged in the charger cord for my phone and was very nice. I had asked for the bread for my sandwich to be toasted, which it wasn't, but otherwise, the sandwich was fine. The meat in the sandwich was a very thick helping, and I was allowed to sit there for some time after I finished. I was glad I got there early (before noon), because by the time I left at one o'clock, all the tables were filled. I'd have given this place five stars if it hadn't been for the untoasted bread.
