I made reservations here 2 weeks earlier to celebrate my birthday, received a confirmation through Open Table and when we showed up the restaurant was closed. No notice, no call from the place to tell me that they were closed. It was certainly a huge disappointment since it was for a celebration. I needed up going down the street to Stamp for the best meal ever. I would recommend Stamp highly AND I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO BLIND TASTING. So unprofessional. If I could give it a -10 rating I would.

Walking with a friend on Laurel Street we stopped in for a glass of Champagne and a Cheese Plate. Seating at the bar was comfortable, friendly bartender, an entire wall of wine you will surely find the perfect accompaniment to anything on the menu. Atmosphere was relaxed, casual and service en pointe. Parking can be difficult especially on weekends.

It was okay. Service was nothing great. Food a bit bland. I used to love this place. They are missing something lately. Hope they can find it again.

Made a reservation for a special occasion with my wife, arrived at the restaurant and was not greeted by staff. Lots of people in the restaurant, staff had seen us standing by the door but still did not come up to us. Until a lady came up and said the restaurant was closed for a private party. Was extremely upset.

Came here with a friend of mine. She picked the spot. It is a lovely surprise. The waiters are super nice and friendly. He recommended a bottle of Pinot and it is just so delicious. Yep. The bottle was gone pretty quickly. We started off with a mushroom flatbread. Oh so good. I don't normally like carbs but the cheese, the crispy crust and the nice mushrooms all came through. It was so good. My gnocchi was so delicious. Not heavy at all. I finished it off very quickly.... Too quickly. Ha. My chocolate trio was nice along with their complimentary drink. It was a great and intimate place for some good drinks, food and friends. Would love to come back!

We went to dine at Blind Tasting this evening. We checked out within 30 minutes. We tried their sparkling flight which is supposed to be a tasting of 4 sparkling wines.First of all there was zero bubbles- looks like it was sitting opened for days! It was just sour water -We then told the waitress that this is long opened bottles and she then went and opened new ones and replaced them. The sparkling was also served in glasses - they didn’t have flutes!!Regardless- we checked out as fast as you can - because it’s all about first impression and their integrity of serviceIf we didn’t say anything- they would make us drink the garbage! We had such great experience and service at Cask!! Very authentic! Totally worth it-Please don’t choose this place -go to cask! Or any other good restaurants nearby- Better food, drinks, service and worth the money-I’ll give 0 star if I had the optionBLIND INDEED!Francis/Shirley

We will miss Gamze! She was the best hostess and always elevated our experience at Blind Tasting. Great conversation. Unfortunately, the salmon BLT (our favorite) was overly salty. Regardless, we'll be back!

The wines really good. The prices are good, , I came on a holiday so they're a little higher of course. Omg the breads soo good. They have Christmas music playing which is a bonus . The foods definitely worth it , hella tasty. The service is great and they also have the football game on, score !

We stopped in for happy hour (Monday - Friday) and were pleasantly surprised at the choices of interesting wines by the glass, or beer. There are a few reasonably priced appetizers as well. I enjoyed a few oysters with my nice white wine. Outdoor seating. Capable service. A pleasant stop that we'll probably try again.

Both of us got a blind tasting which was a fun way to try a flight of random wines! The food was fantastic. We immediately got hooked on the artichoke beignets and I wish we ordered about 5 more orders. The shrimp and lobster ravioli was the biggest surprise, it was incredible, and the perfect portion to share! The waiter brought us a tasting of his favorite Cabernet and it was incredible too!

Portions are a bit on the pricey side for the amount that you get but the food was all pretty tasty. We got some items off their happy hour menu - some risotto rice balls, brie and pear puffs, and a half board of charcuterie with manchego and caciotta tartufo cheese paired with some coppa. All glasses of wine and beer are also 10% off during happy hour - unfortunately, the wine flights are not part of this deal. For a wine and beer bar, I don't think the staff here is particularly knowledgeable about the wine that they're serving, which was a bit of a bummer but at least we knew what we wanted. They have both indoor and covered outdoor seating, this is a nice place to come to on a sunny afternoon to enjoy good drinks and food and people-watch.

This is one of my go to places to go to in San Carlos. The service was on point, the food was amazing, and the ambiance is perfect for all vibes you are going for. It's a great date night spot. We ordered the artichoke heart beignets, which was a MUST TRY! I wanted to order like 4 more plates or those bad boys. The wine menu is perfect and I love they have different wine flights and even the blind tasting flight. It's a fun flight to get and then guess which wine you have. The chicken penne was really tasty and love the sun dried tomatoes in it. We finished off dinner with dessert. We got the churros and the beignets. Everything was filling here and I love the alcohol walk inside the place. I love they have outside seating which is perfect for this summer weather.

We got here at a quiet time before the dinner rush and got to know the friendly staff. Very nice place with a good wine selection and a cool wall for their beer draft. The goat cheese and beet salad was great. The pear and Brie phyllo pockets were tasty. We also highly recommend the artichoke heart beignets served with the herb aioli!
