“As our company travels all over north America we find cool and fun places to eat. After a long day of work we stumbled upon Molly O's. What an absolute treat of a location. The food was absolutely delicious and our server Abigail was so sweet and attentive. When it comes to food.. im trying to convince everyone while still sitting at the table to come back tomorrow night after work again. The sheppards pie, even if not made with mutton was absolutely fantastic. The fish and chips were seasoned so well and were perfectly crunchy. The spicy Irish was equally delicious. If I get my way tomorrow night we will return again so that I can have my own shepards pie all to my self hah.

Update Feb 06 - I have managed to make my way back to Molly O's to indeed have my own sheppards pie! I also had their bread pudding which was also delicious. Our server today was Nicole and she was lovely. When our company makes it back to this area again we will be returning here!“

“Had a drink at this cash only Pub. The service was great, it was super close to our hotel and it had a great atmosphere! The winter Olympics were on so wet had a great time watching in their many super high definition tvs! Great bear and spirits collection!“

“Then to this place for years! A cool calm awesome fun place to be. When you think of your local dive bar this is the place that comes to mind! Please go in and have a beer or drink. The people who work there and the people that go there are all amazing people!“

“Honestly, as a beginning patron at this establishment, I found the size and friendliness of this Irish pub substantially welcoming ??(that's a two thumbs up). Surviving the restrictions of covid, we all had to make allowances regarding dining. So getting there with some streets still blocked off in San Mateo(to better the businesses survival of our industries) it may take you a few twists and turns to get there so DON'T GIVE UP if your GPS tells you to take a turn and you find it has blockades... Just go another block or two down and you'll find yourself on the right street. Parking is a little strained... But the secret is there a little alley directly across the street from the front door and there's a number of slots avail at NO COST! On Tuesday nights they have an amazing kareoke event, but be prepared to get on the waiting list as my last experience it was pretty much packed... Which I dig cuz the audience participation was like a community. The bartender ALWAYS replaced your glass with a fresh chilled pint glass when you're trying one of their many flavors of draught on tap and was always on duty ready to serve his patrons. Friendly, warm and inviting. I take enjoyed myself and have returned since then. Prices are very fair. I suggest trying the Cali Squeeze on tap on a hot summer day. The essence of orange infused with a malt beverage is so refreshing on a warm day and doesn't seem so heavy when you're hot. I'll be returning.“

“Great local place to go catch a game, meet new people, enjoy live music, join in dancing classes, trivia, and more. The bar/table staff are always on it and are super friendly, always making you feel welcome. Thanks Ant for being a great representative of the Alhambra, I really liked that experimental cocktail you came up with that was like a strawberry daiquiri/martini - top notch, hope it gets on the menu soon!“

“Great venue for parties & just a nice place to have drinks. Beer selection is fabulous as is the atmosphere. McGoverns bartenders are fun friendly & helpful. There are numerous games to enjoy playing from table hockey, billiards, checkers, pinball, ect. If you walk in solo...you’ll find yourself with plenty of friendly people & conversation!“
