This is a review for OpenTable, not for the restaurant. The restaurant CLOSED DOWN PERMANENTLY on 12/31/22. It is CRAZY that, 3 weeks later, OpenTable STILL accepts reservations. Especially since several users have already reported the closure in their reviews. It is even CRAZIER that OpenTable doesn't offer an option for users to report a restaurant permanently closed. Yelp does, so why not OpenTable?

Delicious food and comfortable ambiance. We wanted to eat dinner outside (given that this review was late December and COVID cases are increasing) but we were disappointed that their outside heaters were not working. However, we appreciated that their dining room was configured with ample room between the tables.
Horrible experience. They tried to charge us for items we did not order. They also got every single order wrong. Highly recommend investigating them as now we are feeling sick from the food.

I could have made better Fajitas at home. No condiments, had to ask for tortillas. Another member of our group had chili relleno. Not a traditional relleno, no sauce & black beans on top? Poor taste. Other items enchiladas and tacos passable but just OK. Restaurant was empty and now I know why. Save your money go elsewhere.

Food was good overall. Although the salsa, guacamole, and chips they offer you in the beginning are not free. I also felt the customer service wasn’t very good.

Met some friends here the other night to catch up over a meal. The service was so very friendly and the waiters timing was impeccable. We enjoyed the margaritas which were a good size, guacamole appetizer and chips and salsa. For our entrees we chose the tostada salad, enchiladas (red sauce). Our meals were enjoyed. It's a good size restaurant with a nice bar area.

Large traditional sitdown Mexican restaurant, great ambiance, good service, low tables, and bar...what's not to like, right?Unfortunately, the food. It wasn't terrible, but it didn't impress either. The chips and salsa / guac were just ok (the chips were poor). The enchiladas were a bit salty, otherwise bland. And the "classic" Margarita tasted like a pre-mix. (Go to Tommy's in SF for a good classic drink)Will I go "Otra Vez"? Probably not. I'll stick to Mayan or Mama Coco for Mexican in San Carlos.

The food was delicious, I had shrimp tacos. The drinks were delicious, I had a prickly pear margarita. They also had a descent wine selection. The service was very lovely and the atmosphere was pleasant. I definitely plan to go again very soon.

Had the Grilled Salmon and my stomach has been upset ever since. For the money that I spent on the entrée, I was expecting better quality.The two star because the taste was decent. But would you eat again if the salmon was clearly stale and a health risk?
I was very disappointed with my sizzling fajita (which wasn't sizzling at all btw) which had little flavor. The beans and rice were very plain, reminded of canned beans and microwaved rice. The meal overall made my day worse. Sucks to say. Just keeping it real for the next person. My partner had the grilled salmon, which was soggy af. We left our food after having a few bites. Searching for somewhere to redeem to ourselves.

This is is amazing service is the best. I'm allergic to raw onions and ceviches have been one of my favorites but it's really hard to get without onions but here they make everything fresh and can do as per request. Best service very yummy food. Drinks are good. Fish tacos are yum so is chicken tacos. Definitely going back to try more.

This place is not worth the money, service was not good, food was soooo late and it wasn't good. The waiter said he wasn't going to charge me for sour cream and guacamole but he did, who serve fajitas without Salas, guc and sour cream and alitte lettuce. The service was all over the place taking food to wrong table not once not twice but three time.

We came here as a group for Cinco de Mayo lunch. I was hard to make reservation for 9 people as I could not find number on Yelp, I had to look up on web. We came on time and our table was waiting. Since it was a busy day for any Mexican restaurant the service was very good we had 2 servers for our table. Our food came quick - great for work lunch time. It was my first time but not for the rest who all recommended the Paella. All our meals were very good with no complaints.

The first time I went here, it was amazing. I've been back twice and disappointing each time. The service was spotty, the blended drink was really not good the second and third time, food was not really hot, difficult to get water cups filled. Not sure what's going on. I like the ambience and drink options so much more than the other Mexican restaurants available on Laurel, so I'm really rooting for this place to kick it up a notch.
