I'm crushed to read in the SF Chronicle that Panda Dumpling closed due to an ADA compliance lawsuit. They were all such lovely people. I imagine the cost to upgrade and comply pushed them over the edge of ability to sustain their livelihood. Will hope that after 20 years of serving great food they might resurface somewhere else. If not, thank you for some great meals. You will be missed.

This was my favorite place since childhood, I can't believe they are closed over a silly lawsuit, does anyone have more details? Can we make them a go fund me? Please I can't let this be the end of them

Unfortunately, Panda Dumpling has closed its doors permanently, due to an ADA lawsuit. They are already missed by so many of us.

It was good enough about a month ago so I went back today for lunch and there was a sign on the front door saying it was out of business. Huh.

Really underrated for the flavor at the price point. I particularly enjoy the spicy wontons, and pork dumplings. It's a true hole in the wall spot, and I'd highly recommend!

We had Vegetarian dumplings and pot stickers. Also Mapo topu. It was all very good.

Why go to Ding Tai Fung when you can go to Panda Dumpling! If you are someone who goes to restaurants where the decor and atmosphere is most important, please stay away from my Panda Dumpling! Just a friendly, inexpensive, neighborhood dumpling shop with authentic flavors in San Carlos. Highly recommend the following: Xiao Long Bao aka Soup Dumplings, juicy with an explosion of flavors every time that never disappoints. Spicy Wontons, if you are feeling for something with stronger flavors. The sesame paste and chili oil combo that the wontons are soaked in are just fantastic. Chive Pancake, perfectly pan fried with bits of chives and eggs inside. Pan fried is the way to go, unlike some places which deep fry them to save effort/time. Ji-Cai with Pork Wontons, comes in a clear broth and perfect if you are looking for something light. If you are feeling sick, hungover or had a greasy/heavy meal the previous night, this is the perfect comfort dish. Ji-cai is a wild vegetable variety popular in the Shanghai area of China. Every dish is only around $10, hard to find such a deal in this inflationary economy.

Really good service and great food, I was very surprised. They had great portion sizes with decent prices. The staff was friendly. New to the area so very warm welcome and great food. Will be coming back.

Good food, nice people. The crab Xiao long bao are particularly good, and the spicy dumplings are very unique.

Came in at 745pm with my kids and I asked if we can dine in. We were turned away because they wanted to close early even though their hours says until 9pm.

I almost don't want to leave a review bc then this hidden gem will be exposed..... But this place is so fricken good and is not allowed to go out of business!!!! Chant with me: DUMPLINGS, DUMPLINGS, DUMPLINGS!!!! Trusted the elite fam and went with: -XLB (hella good. I could've just had all 10 of these for myself as a meal and been satisfied) -Spicy dumplings (the sauce is perfectly spicy, not overbearing, and had a peanut-y taste. So unique and oily and nommmmm) -Shanghai stir fry noodles (3.5/5... these noods were thicc) Ho sh*t I died and went to panda dumpling heaven. You can tell they legit make those dumplings in house! & Great portions and only spent $33. Such an amazing deal and damn, living close by is gonna be dangerous

We grabbed to go food after a long day and little desire to do anything. The sweet and sour chicken was great. It comes tossed in the sauce and with a slight rice addition it turned into a wonderful meal. It was a massive portion too. The sesame chicken was also delicious. It was a little in the salty side but once again some rice balanced it out. Of course we also got some dumplings. We chose the pork and bok choy variety. They were very delicious. My two criticisms are that they didn't come with any sauce and there weren't more of them. Next time I would definitely get more (and some sauce)!

I love this place. Ive been getting food here for like 6+ years and I never regret it. The soup dumplings are incredible. The Kimchi is so delicious I'm really lucky they let me buy it in bulk amounts. The owner is always kind to me. Highly recommend.
