How have I not tried this place yet??? Went there for lunch with a friend on Monday. I love Greek food and always up to try a new spot. Pylos was wonderful! For lunch I had the seafood souvlaki which was delicious. Nice big shrimp and pieces of salmon in a warm, fresh pita with just the right amount of tzatziki sauce. Comes with a salad and they were kind enough to out the dressing on the side. My friend had one of the gyro wraps and she loved it. They also have Greek French fries which I have heard are amazing. Unfortunately, my current eating plan does not include them but there is always a next time! Service was very friendly and prompt. They have a nice inside restaurant and a great outside setup with heat lamps. Yay! Hubby loves Greek too so we will definitely be back (I'm going to steal his fries ).

We are locals and we have been here many times. Very consistent, and as vegetarians we really enjoy the dip samplers, the appetizer selection, and the moussaka. The owners are very friendly and happily accommodated various requests like when someone in our party wanted room temperature beer. Pleasant to sit both inside and outside. There was even one time an unruly customer was harassing a couple at another table, and the restaurant management found a way to usher them out without creating a scene. I was afraid with Doppio Zero coming up next door Pylos might lose business, but Pylos' food and consistency is far, far better.

Favorite Greek restaurant in the Bay! Love their fish dishes - always fresh and flavorful! And the staff is very friendly and helpful!

Had a team dinner at this cozy Greek restaurant. There were 16 people. The food was delicious. We started with appetizers, calamari, grilled octopus, dolmathes and pitas with assorted dipping sauces. All cooked perfectly, the calamari and octopus were the stars. Next the dinner course. I had grilled salmon with a Mediterranean sauce saffron couscous and sautéed veggies. It was fantastic. My team mates had, Moussaka, grilled trout, lamb shank, gnocchi, lamb skewers and everyone was happy with their meal. Service was superb. Try the chocolate Baklava for dessert if you have room!

I was visiting for the weekend and came here with some friends on a Saturday night for dinner. We had an exceptional experience! The dolmas and soup were my favorite and our server Jay J was the best!

This place is great. The service is A++. I come here with my kiddos and they always speak to my kids in such a nice way. I'll sometimes order food for my 10 month old with lots of modifications and they never bat an eye. It's a big deal to have a restaurant fully accommodate your requests. Now for the food...my personal favorite is the avgolemono soup. It's so good. My 4yo loves it too. Their sampler platter of different dips is awesome. The salmon is good and so is the chicken dish. So is their salad. But the soup . I haven't gotten anything I haven't liked yet. Highly recommend.

I wish more people would come here! I don't write many reviews. I only do so for the extremes. Pylos is definitely on the positive side of the spectrum. We've come here a few times and it's always been great today we had the chicken souvlaki. All of the ingredients were of great quality. The chicken was amazingly tender and seasoned well. Too many places seem to use frozen or low quality ingredients. I think that's why Pylos stands out to me. We were really happy with the food and service here.

Simple - we came few minutes earlier than our reservation (see pics), the 4 of us, a waiter with the glasses said he will sit us down shortly, we patiently waited for about 15-20 mins, sat down at the table he pointed at earlier, only to get kicked out as "another guy waited for 2 hours", which is a lie, my wife saw him come in after her.

The service was abysmal as they didn't have enough staff. The manager could not even read the names on his tablet properly to check open table reservations in. After a very long wait we had to leave with a packed entree as they took so long. The valentines fixed menu was a joke. While they reduced the menu for efficiency (thereby taking away many vegetarian options) their service issues killed any efficiency. The notion of taking the same menu that is there everyday and super charging for Valentine's Day with no change in the quantity or quality of the menu is an even bigger joke. I guess the final joke is on folks like us who go out to these places on a special night.

This is a nice place with helpful employees. However, we visited on Valentine's Day and the menu was different from the online one. The lemon soup was very good. Good, but not outstanding. May try once more.

Try everything on the menu. You will not be disappointed one bit. Service here is remarkable. Menu options are authentic and vast. Beverage selection is great. This restaurant has a heated patio for the outdoor diner. We take all of our out of town friends and family here because the dining experience does not compare to any other Greek cuisine in the area.
