Visited Rustic House while in town on business week of 4/1/24. Food and service were fantastic. I recommend the crab and lobster linguini!! It was so good that I went back the following day to get it again! Great experience for a first timer in CA - thanks

Three stars because the person that sat us provided paper menus and never mentioned that the cubein the middle of the table was another way to see the menu. The paper menu was so hard to read because the letters were super small, and I felt like I was grading someone's homework. However, the food and service were good. I had a salmon, which was cooked to perfection. We also had the bourbon oysters and crispy calamari. The mango margarita and the bloody mojito were great! To end our supper, we had a three leches taramisu with coffee flavor. I recommend it 100%. It was about $178.00 for two people. The place looks clean and it is quiet. There is plenty of parking space and it is kid friendly.Parking: Parking is bigKid-friendliness: Yes, kid friendly.

It's been almost 8 months since we returned to Rustic House. We started off with the clam chowder and we weren't disappointed. The seafood pasta and mahi mahi taco was SO delicious and fresh. Mauricio was our host and he did a superb job. With so many restaurant to choose from in San Carlos, we hope to come back soon.

This restaurant has a mixture of a sports bar, seafood, and a New Orleans vibe. We have been going there since they opened and have never had a bad experience. I especially like the Fried Shrimp Po-Boy.

Everything was great, except no nice non-alcohol drink option on the menu. Only non-alcoholic beer. My husband asked for lemonade and he said it just tasted like the powder kind. A place like Rustic House should have real lemonade.

Food and cocktails were great. Delicious and fresh oysters with multiples varieties to choose from. Service was friendly albeit perhaps a bit inexperienced. I really don't require much attention. That being said, when I leave my card out to signal I'm ready for the check it is annoying when every member of the wait staff and front of house personnel passes by without taking notice for 10- 15 minutes. It wouldn't have bothered me until the bartender yelled out to me, asking if I had paid. Which of course I had, but they left a bad taste in my mouth about the experience. She probably should have known, and would have known if she had paid any attention

A pub with reliable food, atmosphere, and service. Nothing is outstanding, but you'll always have a satisfactory time. I recommend the bourbon grilled oysters, which remind me of the famous BBQ oysters at Nick's Cove way off in Marshall.Parking: You can usually find free street parking within two blocks.

Met two friends for lunch- one handicapped in a wheel chair. The staff accommodated us to make it easy to maneuver to a table and gave us constant service. Great food, properly cooked: fish and chips, cracked crab, and steak and scampi. No complaints on the food!!! Only one parking spot for handicap and noise level being somewhat high only negatives!

Great local restaurant. Cheesy Garlic Bread with Dungeness Crab is a must every time we visit. Fish tacos try all four varieties you won't be disappointed. Of course steamers, chowder and so much more. They have a Los Altos location too but I've come to choose this location as my go to. Can't wait to return.

We were greatly surprised at the wonderful food. The place feels more like a bar than a restaurant but we were going off of the reviews. Our waitress was wonderful but was multitasking as the bartender so it was hard to get her attention at times. However, she was great when serving us. Everyone's meal was absolutely delicious and we got our free dozen oysters free on Yelp. We bought another dozen and tried the bourbon oysters which were excellent. I'd come back here if we are in this area again.
