I have been coming, a few times a year, to the bay area for work. Usually I go into the city on Sundays to explore but decided not to this time (and saving me hours of driving). While planning I came across Ale Arsenal. Made my first trip and had a great time. Not only great taps of IPAs but also stouts and barelywine. Tara was a great beertender, professional, good knowledge of beer, conversation. Overall just a great place, will be back on future trips.
Local bar to the San Carlos area. Great beers, rotating menu. I've come in twice and enjoyed my visit both times.

Ale Arsenal is a well-known beer destination in the area, offering a wide selection of beers, including local and regional favorites. The helpful and friendly staff create a welcoming atmosphere, and customers enjoy the opportunity to bring in take-out food from nearby restaurants. The venue features a nice long bar with plenty of space to chat, and a good variety of beers from California and nearby states, including Moksa from Rocklin, Slice in Lincoln, and other excellent breweries. They serve ales, sours, IPAs, stouts, and even wines, with some in-house bottle options available. Customers can also pick up a 4-pack to enjoy at home. While Ale Arsenal is not kid-friendly, it provides a great spot for adults to sample a variety of craft beers and ciders in a relaxed environment. The venue is highly regarded as one of the best taprooms on the SF peninsula, known for its craft beer knowledge, relaxed vibe, and TV screens showing classic films or sports.
