We enjoyed our New Year's Eve dinner...haven't been to Spasso in a while but it's a favorite local spot. Calamari was crispy, tender and dipping sauces tasty. Liked the warm bread/olive oil dip. My husband & I had 6:15 reservations on Christmas Eve. We have been to Spassos many times but this time was the worst experience. Our dinners were very good and arrived hot, but everything else was a pretty negative experience. You expect a restaurant to be busy on Christmas Eve, but Spassos was chaotic, disorganized, and in our opinion, greedy. We enjoyed the Warm Cabbage Salad and the Mushroom Ravioli. Both dishes were delicious. Our wait person was personable, attentive, kind, and accommodating. Spasso with it's relaxing ambience is now a favorite place for our lunching.
