Lovely local bakery. A bright spot among some worn storefronts. Brentwood neighborhood could do with more local businesses like the Cake Queen. We have tried most of the offerings (everything from birthday cakes to cupcakes to empanadas). Everything is delicious. As others have noted, there are often lines (I think this is many people's go-to coffee shop). I am pleased to see a local store succeed. I've been going here for a while now, off and on, and parking can be a little tough. This is one of the reasons I don't go here as often as I'd like. Typically, when I go here, there's usually a line going out the door. This time around, it wasn't busy. The lady who helped me was ok. She didn't really talk much. Didn't really give many recommendations.

This review is long overdue, but Tara, Jade, and the team are simply amazing. I celebrated my 30th birthday in January, and the theme of the party was Friends. I requested a Friends-themed cake, and I was amazed by the result. Everyone was very easy to work with, and all of my guests loved both the design and the taste of the cake. You have a customer for life in me.
