About Fort McKinley Restaurant, Bar & Banquet

Fort McKinley Restaurant, Bar & Banquet offers a small lunch buffet menu from Wednesday to Friday, allowing customers to point to their desired dishes, which are then served by the staff. The food is described as flavorful, with popular dishes including fish, beef bulalo, bangus sisig, and crispy calamari, although some found the calamari a bit hard to chew. The service is friendly, though it can be a little slow at times. The atmosphere has an older ballroom style, featuring tablecloths, chandeliers, and carpeted floors, but can get loud since the restaurant rents out half of the space for parties and events. Guests have enjoyed drinks like mango margaritas and lychee martinis at the bar. Overall, the food is considered top-tier, and it is a suitable option for both casual dining and events. For larger groups craving Filipino food near south SF, Fort McKinley is a highly recommended choice.
