Went there for the wine flight and meet up with a friend. There were 3 flights to choose and we sat outside on a nice Saturday afternoon to take in the nice sunshine and mild weather.
I love the lunch special menu - the value is super with three courses soup/salad, main and a little ice cream to finish. My salmon was a 5/5, extremely tasty and perfectly cooked. The reason for the middling food rating was my wife's burger, which was under cooked and tasted a bit off. Her broccoli soup was likely asparagus soup and was very tasty. Overall very pleasant - will come back, but they need to fix the burger.
I've been going to the CASK for a long time. I feel like the price of food has gone up but the quality may be down a bit. The salad I ordered didn't have the same great taste as before. The dressing seemed watered down, a ton of cranberries and maybe one walnut. For $24 the salad should be a wow, not a bummer. My husband's mixed vegetables were equivalent to a frozen bag warmed up.
