In the entire military history of the human race, the San Mateo chowhall stands as the single worst establishment to ever serve food.It is the scummiest rat-infested feeding trough any professional fighting man has ever had to run his tongue across. Eating there is a debasing act unbefitting the dignity afforded to the lowest human soul—If you told me Judas Iscariot was going to dine there, I'd tell you he didn't deserve it.Luckily the smell of sewage was always wafting...
Food is produced in very large quantities to feed a very large population, so the taste of all the food is just that. With that being said though, the price is low and you can eat all you want.
