This is the best casual spot in downtown San Clemente for a casual family meal! There is something tasty for everyone on the Active Culture menu. From salads, to burritos, to great smoothies. The staff is friendly. The set up is an order, then choose your own table vibe. Put your plates in the tray when you're done. I love Active Culture, it's the best.

I love Active Culture! Their frozen yogurt is hands-down some of the best I’ve ever had — it actually tastes healthy, fresh, and real, not overly sweet or artificial. You can tell they use quality ingredients, and the flavors are always spot-on. Yes, it’s definitely on the pricier side, but the great atmosphere, friendly staff, and clean, beachy vibe make it worth it. It’s one of my favorite spots to stop after a walk or surf — good vibes, good people, and amazing froyo!

We come here for healthy and delicious options including vegetarian and vegan. The smoothies are a good variety. I have tasted each one and keep coming back for more. Good selection of bowls of a variety of meals. Staff always helpful and friendly. Inside and outside eating spaces and a supplied kiddies corner where the kids were playing while we finished our food. I highly recommend this place and it is right in the main street.

When we got there the prices were hidden and there was only two vegan food on the menu. When we bought two burgers it costed 40$. We got a soda too which was like only 12 ounces and that was 4 more dollars. The service came out with our food immediately as if it was microwaved. And it tasted like that too. The chips were stale and the salsa was alright. I saw a group that arrived shortly after us, and when we finished they hadn’t even gotten their food yet. Looks like the chefs had to finally cook a meal.

Very Expensive! Wholesome Bowl that is cabbage, beans and rice went from $14 to now $24!! Crazy Expensive! Not worth going here anymore. I rather cook.
