Adele's at the San Clemente Inn

Here's again is another establishment where they feel Covid-19 negates customer service.

I love this place! The food is great and so are the people working there. The service is fast and friendly. The food comes out hot and fresh. The owner is very nice and very funny. They make you feel like your at home. I will keep going back as long as I live here! It's also connected to a very nice hotel.

Comedy show was awesome! Food was so incredibly bad! My daughter got food poisoning from the Caesar chicken wrap, another person in our party had to send her meal back because it was so salty. The bar couldn’t make a mojito or a blended margarita. Do not eat here!!! Overpriced and no ambiance.

Now that Tommy's is closed, Adele's at the San Clemente Inn is the best place for a leisurely business meeting. Three of us met there yesterday. Service was abundant. The menu featured Adele's own personal favorites as well as typical breakfast items. We were quite able to hear one another and never had to wait for a coffee refill. Adele herself is a legend in San Clemente. It was great to see her restaurant doing so well.

The food was good but some of the worst service I've encountered. It took almost two hours for a simple breakfast for two people. Something like twenty minutes before our waitress even came to the table, she didn't check on us after the food finally came (we did get a couple coffee refills from the busboy, but never the water refill my husband asked for). Waiting so long for the check I finally got up and went to the host stand to ask for it, then walked it back over there to pay - I'd probably still be sitting there otherwise. The place was not even that busy, I'm not sure if we just got ignored in favor of the larger parties. Well, if she was expecting a smaller tip from us that was a self-fulfilling prophecy, I usually tip generously but it was the bare minimum this time - probably still more than the service was worth but I don't want to be that person. Seems like a cute and interesting place with good food but with service like that we certainly won't be going back again.

I have been coming for several years. They make wonderful breakfast cocktails. However, today I wasn't drinking and instead brought in some other friends. ADELE never fails to make it a wonderful time besides being just what the guys wanted to eat. Always delicious and always fun!

We love Adele's! Heather, our waitress, is such a pleasant gal! The food, whether breakfast or lunch, is always Spot On!
