Been by here so many times since they reopened under new management and with new kitchen staff But today was the day I decided to stop in for some Birria de res tacos and was not disappointed. Great flavor but just needed a touch more salt in the braise. Such nice folks from the front to the back. Solid hot salsa as well. They will be opening a new location, and closing this location today. In a week or two they will be open on Delmar Mar street under the name Taqueria Luna...
Adolfo’s customer service was truly on point and is my reason for coming back. I don’t have a lot of experience with Mexican food but the e lady behind the counter was so accommodating and gave me some good recommendations. Additionally, they gave me some complimentary rice water for me and my kids to try. This review isn’t really about the food but the quality customer service received. That type of service can be hard to find sometimes in the San Clemente area.
This place is solid!! The old cooks from a closed down restaurant. Prices are good! Food is delicious. And service, they’re happy you came.
