The hours were changed so they are no longer open for lunch and it is not posted either on their website or Google maps. They only have a small sign on the door saying new hours. They even still have a little menu for their lunch special in the window.

The Butter Chicken is the best I have ever had and has not had anything better since!! The people care about your experience and are very friendly. It's a place you can bring your friends and have a good time! It does not disappoint!

We were really looking forward to having some good Desi food after a week of eating mostly American fast food. We even drove an hour to get to this place, hoping it would be worth it. Unfortunately, it was a big letdown.

We ordered the butter chicken, Lamb and the meat was undercooked and tough – not what you’d expect from a dish that’s supposed to be rich and flavorful. It completely ruined the experience.

Just a week ago, we tried another Asian restaurant in Bakersfield, and the food there was fantastic. It’s clear that whoever is cooking here either doesn’t understand traditional Desi flavors or is cutting corners.

As someone with a Desi background, I can say this meal did not meet basic expectations. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Desi food.

Kiaan’s Fine Indian Cuisine is hands down the best Indian restaurant in San Clemente! While the portions are very small, I had the lamb vindaloo and it was absolutely incredible — rich, flavorful, and perfectly spicy with tender pieces of lamb that just melted in my mouth. The garlic naan was fresh and fluffy, and everything was served hot and beautifully presented.

The staff was so friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick without ever feeling rushed. You can really tell the food is made with love and authenticity.

If you’re looking for delicious, authentic Indian food near downtown San Clemente or the San Clemente Pier, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend Kiaan’s for anyone craving bold Indian flavors — I’ll definitely be back soon!

We absolutely love this place! The food is consistently amazing—fresh, flavorful, and made with care. But what truly makes the experience special every single time is Aaraj. He’s been there since the restaurant opened, and it’s clear he takes immense pride in his work. Not only is he attentive and professional, but he’s also incredibly kind and genuine.

He goes above and beyond every time, and we actually get excited to see him when we dine here. We believe he might be the General Manager now (and if not, he should be!), but no matter his title, he brings heart, consistency, and excellence to everything he does.

Highly recommend this restaurant—not just for the food, but for the care and service you’ll receive. Five stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I'm always pleased by the young gentleman who serves me. He is respectful and knowledgeable about the menu. He can recommend good options based on your preferences. I observed him being undeservedly patient to some rude customers. The food is not bad either. The decor is very nice, on the fancier side. Much better than most indian places I've been to overall.

Great food. Waitstaff was clearly trained in fine dining etiquette but also very personable.

The best Indian restaurant in Orange County! This hidden gem is located in Talega, San Clemente. The waitstaff is so friendly and welcoming. The food is absolutely delicious. Always fresh and piping hot when ordering. You can choose your spice level for each entree. On Saturday nights they have live music. Our family goes weekly and they have our order memorized. My favorite meal of the week is definitely Kiaan’s Indian Restaurant.
