Stopped in the delightful San Clemente on our way to San Diego. So glad we did as we discovered Bluewater Lane for coffee and food. What a little gem this place is. We were greeted immediately by the lovely Peyton who made us feel very welcome. Her energy and pleasantness was endearing. Her service was second to none. We enjoyed a late breakfast break for 6 people. The food was delicious, artistically presented and arrived quickly and nice and hot! Highly recommend eating here if you’re visiting or looking for a stop along this route. Thank you Peyton.

This is a gem of a café with great indoor and outdoor seating options. Most importantly with extremely pleasant personnel, especially Payton who's positive energy and kind approach is unparalleled. Great overall experience 👌

We stopped in for breakfast on a Friday morning and had a wonderful experience at Bluestone Lane, a fantastic spot in San Clemente. The staff immediately stood out as being incredibly friendly and accommodating, which always makes for a great start to any meal.
The coffee was excellent. My cold brew was smooth and strong, and my wife really enjoyed her iced vanilla latte, saying it was perfectly made.
For our food, my wife ordered the Brekkie Board and absolutely loved it. She said it was a highlight and particularly enjoyed the bright, delicious lemon curd that came with it. I chose the croissant with bacon, and the potato wedges that came on the side were a standout—perfectly crispy with a really good coating. The croissant itself was flaky and buttery, though I found the aioli a tad overpowering for my personal taste with the bacon. In hindsight, I wish I had gotten the ham version; I think the aioli would have shined and paired perfectly with it.
The cafe has some good seating options, including a nice, albeit small, outdoor area which is great for enjoying the morning.
Overall, we had a really positive experience. With great coffee, delicious food, and genuinely welcoming service, we will definitely be back. I know what I'll be ordering next time!

I came into the shop only to ask for the restroom, but they were so nice and welcoming. I got an iced tea and it was really good!! the staff was super nice, i would definitely come back!!

My husband and I (and our three small dogs) visited Bluestone today for the first time and sat outside. All of the waitresses and waiters were very kind and very dog friendly. Their iced lattes were good and not too sweet. The syrups/ flavors were made in-house. I got the egg & cheese croissant- easily one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve had.

We are San Clemente residents, and this our regular weekend stop for coffee and sometimes food. The coffee food quality are excellent, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Ana was our server today, and despite being new, she did a great job!

The coffee was delicious, but what made me love it was our waitress, Anna. She was extremely kind helpful with our meal options. We are visiting from out of town and it’s the perfect set up and many healthy options.
