Man, I want to love this place since it's in our neighborhood but it's their online order system, it's so inefficient. So I never write reviews but I want to point this out to hopefully help improve their process. There's been multiple times when I show up to pick up the order and it's not ready and even worse it hasn't even been started. And it's a real drag. But the product is indeed delish. We've been looking forward to trying Bluestone Lane and stopped by on a Sunday morning at 11 AM. The shop was not busy. However, it took an extraordinarily long time to place my order. I was the 3rd customer in line and it took 20 minutes just to place our order. We ordered an iced mocha and a hot brew. We found the coffee weak and watery without much depth in flavor.

I scared the heck out of the young lady working behind the desk. She had gone into the back to get something and I kind of just popped out of nowhere.I told her that I had just come from another coffee, place down the street and I literally could not drink the espresso and poured it out so I decided to try this spot.I told her the pressure was on, she seemed excited about that ?.I told her I wasn’t going to tell her if the espresso was good or bad, I was just going to walk out.I turned back after I took my first sip and smiled. she got the idea.

Great variety of coffees and food. Baked goods are amazing. They even offer smoothies and pressed juices for those that are health conscious. Great and simple decor. They also really maximize the seating for a small location.Dietary restrictions: They offer to make your smoothie in an isolated blender in case of allergies. Just inform when giving your order.

Good flat white, nice aesthetics and friendly staff. I'd be potentially interested in getting some espresso beans as gifts. I was not pleased with the lack of cleanliness including the floors, counters and dirty dishes stacked on the counter. I'm talking visible dirt and spills that result from lack of thorough cleaning on a daily basis. The cafe is set up so it gets really crowded really fast because there's no real place to wait for your order. Only 2 people working on a crowded Friday morning during winter break before New Year's weekend. I mean come on, we all know that should be a good reason to staff up.

On Christmas morning, before making our way over to our families house for the festivities, my husband and I were in search of a spot to get our morning caffeine fix. Luckily, Bluestone Lane was open on Christmas morning, and all of the staff were in a bright and cheery mood. We decided to order a small bite to eat in addition to our breakfast beverages. This spot serves up some tasty food as well as phenomenal coffee beverages. My husband and I decided to split the avocado toast while I had an iced vanilla latte with oat milk and he ordered a classic Americano. Just a heads up - I do not believe that they take cash as the customer in line in front of us was unable to pay for her items. But don't quote me on that - we just ended up spreading some Christmas cheer and put her order with ours. I just know she tried to pay in cash, and was unable to do so. In addition to fantastic food and beverages, they definitely have very cute merchandise, and I was enticed to buy some. The next time I find myself in the San Clemente area, I will definitely be back!

First time here - super yummy food, we had the breakfast sandwich and the sunshine burrito, great coffee and friendly service.
The barista was nice but didn't know how to make a latte. They were watery and scalding hot. We dumped them out.

A total gem of a spot!! All of the drinks I have order have been spot on every time. Genuinely nice and helpful drink masters have never made a bad recommendation. They also have tasty pastries and yummy food. So happy your here in San Clemente.

I was here for Thanksgiving and McKenzie and Aurélie stayed after hours to meet demand as well as had great attitudes doing it(way better than I would have). The coffee and food were amazing and the atmosphere was perfect for doing work both indoors or outdoors.

Truly one of the best coffee shops in town. Both MacKenzie and Areli (sorry if I misspelled your names) are the best! The others are awesome too, I just don't know their names! But seriously if you want some pretty good coffee, Bluestone is the place to go! Bear coast, high tide, Sur coffee all have inconsistent espresso.

Unfortunately, overpriced drip coffe. Asked for hot and received lukewarm and taste burnt.Place looks semi-cozy but looks perfect for working since every seat got an outlet and small private table along the couch.
