There was a very very long wait, we went on a sat morning around 1030 we checked in and it took them 1.5 hr to seat us. But it was a good atmosphere. We had Monique as our waitress. She was nice, could smile alittle more but overall she provided us good service. The wait was miserable but overall good food. I had the breakfast sandwich and it was delicious.
Stopped here for lunch on my last day in San Clemente and it did not disappoint! Despite a busy day and not many staff, the waiter was friendly and I never had to wait too long. I had the BLT with an egg at his suggestion and it was delicious, great paired with a summery fizzy blood orange seltzer. The day wasn't super hot, but I thought that the outdoor area might feel a little on the warm side with hot weather.
I felt a weird vibe about this place that I couldn't quite put my finger on. I met a friend for breakfast & this was our 2nd time there. The food is good, but my latte was served in a bowl like a warm soup. Cute? I saw a few people who were regular locals & they were greeted very warmly compared to other "tourists" who were just visiting. Nothing warm or inviting in the service & there are many other places close by that may be more inviting. That said,...
