Stopped in for an afternoon cocktail...didn't order from the kitchen but what we saw coming out looked good. Good service too. We'll be back.

On the loud side, but I still really enjoyed the live music. I'll go back next time I'm in San Clemente!

A fantastic dinner and drink spot with a rustic vibe. The basket of fries are a must to try!

Food and feel are very good. We sit at the bar and doors are mostly open, so bring a jacket.
Service varies based on who is working and who they want to talk to.

Stopped in for a late-ish dinner and the poke nachos did not disappoint! The bar tender was very helpful in picking out a possible mocktail (lavender blueberry, sooo delicious, not too flowery) and I enjoyed watching the NHL playoffs at the bar

Walked in for the first time. A professional, amazing manager, greeted us, this Sunday afternoon. Certainly, coming back, the music was great.Elizabeth Lamers, vocalist was wonderful. Professional quality staff.
We love this place BUT not on a Friday night when a band plays. We went last night and the music was way too loud. Multiple tables complained, the chef came out and asked for them to turn down the volume and they never did. I don't mind music but the volume was concert like and it's too small a restaurant for that. We were on a double date and had zero conversations. We will go back since we're locals but not likely on nights with music and definitely not when this particular band plays.

This was a great pact for a quick lunch. I recommend the jalapeño burger with an upgrade to garlic fries. We also had the spicy cauliflower. Delicious!

We were here a few days ago and were ignored and left, gave it another shot tonight because we really like the place. Tristan did an awesome job taking care of us. Thanks Tristan.I used to go here pretty often but I've moved away. This weekend we were in town for a few days and I stopped in for lunch. It was horrible. As a bar owner I understand the business and whoever is managing the place is in way over their head and failing miserably. The food was prepared terribly. I ordered a really simple thing. A teriyaki chicken bowl. The chicken was apremade US Foods product that they recook to the point of overcooked. It was so overcooked I would consider it a cremation. The dish also gave away a terrible secret. The kitchen is in poor shape. There were a few macaroni pieces in the bowl. The server was really trying but I kept hearing him having to apologize to just about every table he was helping. He had to apologize to me because I ordered a beer on the menu and after not getting it for 10 minutes he came back to tell me they were out of my selection. No big deal, I picked something else. That beer was delivered 20 minutes later with my food. He apologized that the order didn't go in because the printer was out of paper. Like I said, this is a management issue. Whoever is managing doesn't have processes in place. Closers should be checking that printer and openers should verify. My guess is the kitchen staff doesn't have processes in place for organization and cleaning either. And if you want to have a nice restaurant, you have to start with good ingredients, not cheap trash sold premade. Honestly I have had better food handed to me through my car window.

This was our first time in San Clemente and at this restaurant, and we enjoyed it.The service was outstanding. Happy we decided to stop in while walking down the street. My San Clemente margarita was strong and delicious. The food was good. We had the Thai wings and coconut shrimp appetizers. We also had the salmon bowl and the Hamilton burger. The salmon bowl was a beautiful presentation. My only "thing" was that the salmon was cooked a bit too hard for me, and therefore was a teeny bit dry. I ate some of it.The burger was cooked perfectly and the garlic truffle fries were delicious. We'd definitely stop in again should our travels take us to San Clemente again.
