Legendary Ice Cream joint! Line is always long but moves quickly! Service is friendly and the portions are generous for the price! They have many unique flavors and obviously the classics! There are nut free and gluten free and dairy free options as well! I look forward to coming here again on my next trip south! I ordered the Monkey business flavor which was banana base (tasted like REAL bananas, not some fake flavoring) with caramel ribbon and some brownie chunks in it!

Oh my goodness!! Can't get better than Handel's! The scoops are huge with a small extra tidbit on top , just to add to its enormous size. Delicious and cheap!

What an exquisite experience! I avoid the mundane, as processed milk and refined sugar do not agree with me, nor with anyone else! Yet, I found myself in the company of whimsical friends, and we ended up here for the evening! Truly, I feel as though I hail from another world! Savoring RAW MILK ice cream sweetened with Turbinado organic sugar and accompanied by organic non-GMO fruits is the epitome of luxurious living. This is the essence of true, refined existence. It appears that some individuals sacrifice their well-being because the market fails to meet their standards, settling for mediocrity. Indulging in such delectable yet detrimental treats too often will inevitably have repercussions. Insist on what you know enhances your health rather than diminishes it! After all, it is not inexpensive❗️😊

got a single scoop on a sugar cone , ice cream was very soft and droopy . Scoop fell off on my way to my car very disappointed will not be back . I will let everyone now.

Took the crew to Handel’s in San Clemente and let me just say—this place is dangerous (in the best way). The flavor list is ridiculous (in a good way). I thought I’d just grab one scoop… and walked out with a sampler flight. No regrets.

The kids were in heaven—Birthday Cake and Blue Monster were the big hits (bonus: they looked as fun as they tasted). I went with Salty Caramel Truffle, and it was rich, creamy, and absolutely worth breaking any kind of “just one bite” rule.

The portions are no joke—a single scoop is basically the size of a toddler’s face. Great value, but maybe split one if you don’t want a sugar-fueled marathon afterward.

No indoor seating, but the outdoor benches worked fine. The staff was super sweet, even when my kids took forever to choose their flavors (classic).

Bottom line: Handel’s is a win for families, ice cream lovers, and anyone with taste buds. Come hungry, bring napkins, and don’t expect to leave without a new favorite flavor.

Recommendation: Only go here if you want a new addiction.

Their ice cream is butter soft. Softer than butter actually, creamy smooth is probably a better description. Man, so much creamier and smoother than other ice creams.

We've been here many times, too many to count.
My son worked here during a summer break.
We were here the other day and got their new flavor, Sticky Fingers. It was awesome.

Get a pint and take it home. You'll be grateful.

Came here for the first time with my grandkids and Dylan helped us out. She was very helpful and the ice cream was delicious. We will definitely be coming back! 😋
