I ordered a custom bday cake for my son who wanted an Oreo ice cream cake for his party! Anna couldn’t have been sweeter. She is so excited to be the cake decorator for this store and it shows! She did a wonderful job. So nice to have Menchies offer custom fro yo cakes!!

Has anyone been here recently? The fruit was all old and nasty. None of the hot syrups were working. And the staff are largely in the back on their phone and could care less. It feels like a health code violation left and right. Would not recommend to my family and even threw away my ice cream after paying for it. Really disappointing.

I was super disappointed when I came to menchies- I honestly think this specific location has gone slightly down hill.Upon entering the establishment- there was no one there to greet. About 3 minutes later, I see an employee come out fo the wood works and I asked for some sample cups and she proceeds to tell me "we are out of sample cups". Ok...that's fine... but I see a TON of spoons, could those spoons be used as a means for potential sampling??Point is - going above and beyond to provide the customer with a bit of satisfaction.I end up getting a small amount of froyo with toppings. As I am eating, I notice a fly right on the cookie dough topping. I would GUESS that the employees do not even clean those topping stations/they just re-fill when low. Those toppings are decades old-lol.Anyway, my last time going there. Not worth it.

Went there with our family today and the service was great! We met the new owners and they were so nice. I had the seasonal Pumpkin flavor and it was sooooo good! We'll definitely be back!

We were happy to enjoy a yummy cool treat and was stoked to still experience the toppings bar! (One of the Menchie’s shops in Hawai’i we frequent no longer has the self-service toppings and instead has each topping in a little plastic lidded cups for $1). It’s fun to choose the toppings and quantity in your scoop! It was clean and well maintained. This visit featured a Kraken movie themed blue raspberry flavor and special designed cups! We didn’t stay inside the establishment as it was a little warm, but took our goodies to go… but there was a lot of open tables and chairs inside and outside.

Dear Mel,Our family visited your store a few Fridays ago, 30 minutes before closing, in response to your advertised Friday night special. Our visit was as disappointing as could be. ALL of the toppings were wrapped up and/or put away. When my wife asked about toppings a male employee said, "we close in half and hour. We're closing up." My wife replied, "You don't close for 30 minutes." The employee shrugged her off and said that's the way we do it".GOOD service is when ALL customers are treated well at ANY time. That was simply pathetic.Additionally, we were there a previous time 30 minutes after opening and waited 15 minutes for ANYONE to help us. NO ONE was there. We knocked loudly on the door to the back of the store and no response. Feel like just sharing this with corporate. Were totally ripped off that Friday night.

This place is great. Yeah it's a little pricey, but it's a frozen yogurt franchise in friggin san clemente. They gotta keep the doors open. But their product, and their staff are well worth it. Super good stuff, a myriad of ways to make a veritable masterpiece, and super sweet people behind the counter. I highly recommend hitting them up in Friday's when Matthew is working. He's a really nice dude, always wears an ear to ear smile, and is always making you feel like it's a great spot to be. Which is rare for any franchise. The owner is a nice lady too.

Go down the street to GOLDEN SPOON where the yogurt is amazing as are the servers~ This place is a no go again for seconds. No one came out to greet me and the yogurt was runny. RUN TO GOLDEN SPOON!

my s/o and I called munchies as soon as we finished a delightful dinner down the street. the employee who picked up the phone greeted with a "hello ??".. we thought we accidentally called a 10 year old girl!! she proceeded to tell us that they close at 10pm when the time was 9:53. feeling elated, we let her know we would be there in 2 minutes.. she replied "okay". we arrived to Menchie's- San Clemente at 9:55... lights out and doors locked. one employee with red hair came to the door and said "when you guys called, we already shut the machines down, nobody has been here for an hour" that's fine and all but.. wouldn't you think to let your customers know on the phone before they got excited and wasted their time ... ? will not catch me back there.. golden spoon it is!!
I wasn't welcomed when entering and I was the only customer at the time. On top of it, they had ONLY FIVE FLAVORS AVAILABLE!! And the toppings were all running out or out completely. Very disappointed with my Menchies experience.

I went there today and purchased one yogurt for $4.32. When I was reviewing charges on my card they charged me $8.32. That is ridiculous. I tried to call them but no one answered the phone and there is no way to leave a message.

Being generous with 1 star. The worst tasting yogurt ever. Yogurt Land was closed. So we ended up here. Toppings were stale too. I asked for a taster was told they don't do that anymore. Had I sampled I would not have wasted my money.

I wish I had asked the name of who I spoke to on the phone! I placed an order through DoorDash and was given the wrong order by the driver. When I called Menchie's inquiring about the situation, the woman I spoke with was very kind and helpful! It was entirely out of her control, but she still did her best to help me out and I really appreciate it! Thank you Menchie's! :)
