First time just passing through the town... will be stopping again on our back through. The young man that waited on us was so kind, patient and helpful. A lot of menu items... fried rice, SPAM, and other Hawaiian items.
We had an omelet, pancakes, fried potatoes and a few other breakfast items... all very good! The omelet was great. Variety of coffees, shakes, and sodas...

Plenty of seating and parking. Encourage you to stop by👍

My husband was excited to stop here on our way back to San Diego after reading some great reviews. Unfortunately, when we pulled into the drive-thru, we never received any service. After waiting for a while with no response, we decided to leave rather than go inside, since we were on a tight schedule. The menu looked fantastic, so it was disappointing that the drive-thru experience didn’t live up to expectations.

Mr Pete's was sold in 2024. I was a regular customer of the old Mr Pete's because the food was always good and made by their chef who has been there 25 years. But I'm not going there anymore because food prices really jumped and service dropped.

Fun little restaurant, counter service, but long waits

Every time I'm in the area I stop at Mr. Pete's for the loco moco. I have tried other things but always come back to the loco moco.

Just a burger.

Wow!! What a difference new ownership and a remodel have made. My wife mentioned this place, I retorted, what a dump.... don't go in the bathrooms. This place has changed and all for the better. She had the waffles and we came back for more. The original owner Pete Katsimientas (sp) woud be proud. They even keep his Pete's Burger the quality of which dropped off with the previous owner. I will try the Pete's Burger again next trip there.

The menu was incredible. What was so amazing was their pancakes as well as their Mexican food for breakfast. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Really good breakfast! You can customize things on their menu to include breakfast foods. I got the Carne Asada burrito with potatoes and egg and it was delicious.
