Bad expensive California burrito. Better off microwaving something from 7/11 across the street

A chicken California burrito was $14.99 and exceptionally small! The chicken was good however and I chose the fried chicken option over the grilled chicken. Aside from the disappointing size, the salsa selection was atypical for California and included Heinz brand packets and another prepackaged salsa that looked like it was from Del Taco. Size and salsas are seen in the pics. Had been here before, but never again.

My burritos here is $15….so overpriced. But I keep coming back because 80% it’s super yummy. 20% of the time their oil is dirty and needs a desperate change out and my food tastes like crap (like tonight). It’s a gamble every time…but the odds are in my favor. I wish the owner was nicer and gave more of a care about long time customers, but I don’t see that changing. The only thing that changes here is the revolving door of employees.

We ordered a bean and cheese burrito and it had no cheese and our California burrito did not have fries in it. For the price I would have expected all of the ingredients to be included. It gets 2 stars because if everything had been in the order, it would have been okay food.

Their shrimp burrito is the best I have ever had! It was so good once I ate it I drove back to the restaurant and bought one more just to eat later! Well done guys! You’ve got a customer for life!
This is seriously one of the fastest drive thrus i've ever been to and the food is always delicious - they do not take cash so please be prepared!

I used to come here every time after surfing Trestles to fuel up. They had the most delicious burritos. But when I came here on August 14th, I saw they jacked up the price of their burrito from 10.99 to 14.99. Such greed even in today’s inflation environment. I walked away and went south down the road to Valerie’s Taco next to Rip Curl. The same quality burrito for half the price.
