This place is like a home-cooked meal from your Italian Grandma. Everything was perfect and we couldn't be happier. The pizza, the pasta, the desert, everything was excellent.

Food was incredible, the owner had a lovely vibe, however, the restaurant staff were extremely unprofessional. We checked in for a table outside, waited for a while and then proceeded to watch them seat another party of the same size that arrived much later than us without a reservation. They then lied to us about the situation, saying these people were just picking up take out (they were not) and strangely avoided eye contact with us, while refusing to own up to their mistake. During our meal, they then handed us a salt shaker that didn’t have the bottom lid on it which took us extremely by surprise when mounds of salt fell onto our food… Generally speaking, the wait staff had a very unwelcoming & awkward energy that made us feel super uncomfortable.

Best Italian restaurant in San Clemente! Great service and authentic Italian food! Everything is made fresh and you can taste the quality of the ingredients. We’ve been here several times and always enjoy it!

Staff was amazing food was delicious me and my girlfriend got meatballs right as they were closing and they let us stay for a few drinks. Such a lovely place

Just had dinner in this restaurant for the first time. Ordered the zucchini blossoms appetizer stuffed with ricotta cheese , however at least 2 out of 5 did not have any cheese in them. Also ordered the pizza Norma with eggplant, mushrooms and basil and there were chunks of super salty eggplants with few mushrooms and 4 basil leafs , although the crust did taste good. Tried their truffle and mushroom pasta which was okay. Glad we tried this place , however No reason to go back again .

Three words: SHORT. RIB. RAVIOLI. It is absolutely phenomenal. Very seldom do I savor a dish for 45 minutes, but this was 100% a whole palette experience. If anyone is after the quintessential Italian dining experience, then Pronto Cubans is a no-brainer!! Knowledgeable staff, cozy atmosphere, and fantastic dining selections. If you have a sweet tooth, the TIRAMISU is on point! Bravo, familia—keep up the good work. I can easily say you are my favorite Italian joint west of the good Mississippi. Wow!! 😮‍💨👌🏼

Really good italian food!!

Picking up an order and was treated like I was stealing the order. I read other people's comments and that they got bad treatment and wanted to be sure if it was me only. They need to do better. Nobody walks in to steal food that doesn't even taste good.

We popped into this place on a whim while walking by, drawn in by the cozy vibe and welcoming atmosphere. There’s something special about finding a great spot without planning it. The service was on point, the food was delicious, and the cocktails really hit the mark. Can’t wait to come back soon.

Since my order was to go, I can’t offer an atmosphere review. I took it home and could not believe what I was eating. A little slice of Heaven. I can’t wait to go there again, this time to dine inside, I hope. Del Mar needed a cozy Italian, sweet restaurant and this one hit the mark.
