When employees figured out a customer was waiting kitchen starts a drum beat. Fries came out cold; really questionable they were fried fresh. Staff are bored and poorly trained. Could have gotten better atmosphere at the airport.

We went to this burger bar based on the reviews and website pics. Sounded good at first, fresh burgers, beer on tap and new happy hour place maybe? Well not so. We couldn't get any beer on tap because their wasn't anyone old enough to serve it? I guess the "taps" are just for show. The burgers were just meh. Juicy but just plain ordinary, the frys looked good as far as the cut (skinny)but they were cold, wimpy (looked like they came from the bottom of the batch - tiny and short about 1/2 to 1 inch long)and tasted about the same as the burgers meh. Oh well, we went, we tried and we will keep looking.

The hamburgers were tasteless and undercooked. Seemed like the patties were just frozen and preformed. Not what I was expecting from “Pure Burger “. The one leaf of lettuce didn’t even cover the burger. The fries were terrible and just tossed in the to go bag to fall all over the bag. Should have chosen a different burger place. Not going back again.

Ordered from Pure burger based reviews 4.7 out of 5. The burger patties were very under cooked and the fries were horrible! I have just removed the app from my phone and will never order from them again.

I’ve been here twice. First when they first opened, which was great, but now a year later, the quality has dropped significantly. Burger was cold and much smaller than the photo. The fries were just soggy pieces of fries. Hard to find one over an inch long. Maybe it’s not a good idea to leave the running of a restaurant to a 16 year old and one cook. I almost went to Jack in the Box and saw this place on the way there and remembered it. Really wish I had gone to Jack in the Box

I really wanted to like this place. In fact I ordered 5 different times. I ordered smash burgers each time and 2 times it was a smashed. Each other time it's just a preformed burger. I even ordered the none smash burger to compare and they are identical. Seems there is 1 good employee who does it right and the rest have no clue.

The food was really great! But the amount of cigarette butts and trash in the planters on the patio and in the entrance was totally unacceptable. There was only two other people eating there. The hostess could’ve totally cleaned up outside. It looked like it hadn’t been hosed down in months.

Third time here, SO SICK! My symptoms were unbearable throughout the night and the most extreme I’ve ever experienced. Took me out for almost 3 days had to get family and friends to come over and help with my kids and shoutout to Hydration Room downtown for the IV therapy. No reply from the business when I emailed to let them know. I wish them success but not if people are getting sick - and I’m not the only one.

Seriously I don't understand all the WOW's and OMG's about this place and it's burgers. The place itself looks cold and industrial with it's grey/white/black metallic tones, and it's burgers (we had the Goat and the American) are indeed good, but nothing to get orgasmatic about, honestly. The prices are 50 pct higher than in normal burger joints. Been there, tasted it, won't come back though

Burger was completely raw. My husband and I had food poisoning after one bite. Worst burger joint we’ve ever been to. Very disappointed that San Clemente let this restaurant establish here with terrible quality and overpriced.

Best burger I have ever tasted. It’s perfect. The premium ingredients are amazing. I urge you to try it.
It has a perfect simple menu: burger options including chicken, bison and vegan; fries, salad, beer, cocktails.
It’s a perfect price point. Order at counter but I tip properly anyway because it is so good. Besides, the two young men running the show on a saturday night got it done right.
There is a comfortable indoor and outdoor seating and a bar. This place deserves to be a staple in san clemente. Ignore all the negative reviews.

STAR GOAT
By far to date, the best thing ever put in my mouth, the bison GOAT burger, at Pure Burger Bar! Lemon Tumeric Healthy Soda, respectful friendly staff, incredible atmosphere, I will bring everyone I know here! Vegan options were available however, the grass fed bison is another thing all together! I saw salad too on the menu! Enjoy, friends!
