I can't say enough good things about Rapport in San Clemente. My first visit to their cafe was in Jan. 2026; I was in the area because of a doctor (M.D.) visit I had. I live about 30 minutes away drive time, which is maybe a good thing otherwise I would go there every day and blow up my budget. Firstly and most important: the coffee is OUTSTANDING. Secondly: the baristas are very efficient, very knowledgeable and very very very nice. The roast level of all their coffee is light roast, which I NEVER thought I would like. I've tried both of their coffees as lattes with oat milk. From the descriptions, I would NEVER have tried either coffee - one is Ethiopia single origin and the other is Costa Rica single origin. One or both flavor descriptions includes tangerine and orange and one includes green apple, and I dislike ALL of those fruits intensely. The lattes were incredibly good, much to my surprise. The fruit notes are subdued and the coffee is VERY smooth. The biggest surprise of all was that I drank them without any sweetener! I've learned a lot from the baristas and they have changed my opinion about light roast coffee and coffee from Ethiopia and Costa Rica.

You can really tell this place is run by people who genuinely love coffee! and that care really comes through in the cup.
I don’t usually enjoy acidic coffees, but the Ethiopia espresso here was very fruity with a smooth, pleasant finish😌
Definitely a great experience!

We came by for coffees after a tiring 90 minutes at the DMV and boy did Rapport deliver! I am a self-described sugar fiend and I didn’t feel the need for a bit of sugar in my coffee. My husband loved the minimal decor and the friendly service. The coffees were reasonably priced.
We will swing by and get the roasted beans when we are in the neighborhood next time.
Thank you to the lovely barista/cashier for your excellent service today (1/15/2026).

Jared and Reese were so informative and lovely to meet. My cappuccino is the most flavorful I’ve had in San Clemente and my husband’s pour over smells so intriguing. These guys know their stuff, and knew everyone by name. Can’t wait to bring my family members here - who love good coffee and appreciate the craft. Will be back!!!

Stopped by after having some imaging done nearby, absolutely delicious coffee, smooth flavorful, probably the best coffee I’ve had. Too bad it’s not near where I live otherwise I’d be here daily and busting my coffee budget.
The seating is a little awkward, it would be nice if they had tables with chairs instead of just bench seating.

Very glad that I stopped in on a whim traveling from San Diego to LA. Some of the best coffee that I’ve had in SoCal. Great people working here who are incredibly passionate about 3rd wave coffee. Awesome experience all around. Ordered a very tasty espresso that was pulled perfectly!

Wow. I order an americano, it was watery, it didn't tasted like coffee at all, I said little cream only, it taste like creamer over water. Very disappointed.
Never again.
