The food here is pretty good and priced relatively compared to the other nicer restaurants around San Clemente. The chilaquiles were really good and the avocado toast was great as well. The drinks were well made and decently priced. Our only concern/negative feedback would be the staffing. The people are great, kind and wonderful to be around. There were just a few moments where we had to wait a bit longer than necessary due to the bartender(the only one serving) was overwhelmed with the guests. To be fair, there were a couple of larger tables, but an additional server would have made this a 5 star experience. We will definitely be back!Parking: Riviera Restaurant is located inside the San Clemente Inn. Both the Inn and Restaurant share a large parking lot.

Parking was easy. Ambiance was very unassuming and laid back. Food exceeded expectations! The Attaboy and Riviera Sunset cocktails were outstanding and we loved the cauliflower Rivi Bites as well as the Mahi Mahi dish. Great service too, will return and most likely become a regular.

We had a wonderful time at Riviera for dinner! The food was delicious (the lobster risotto special was a fan favorite with our table, as was the short rib pasta)! The music selection set the perfect mood throughout the evening, and the service was exceptional! Our server Aaron was very attentive to our table and ensured everything came out in a timely manner. We will definitely be back!

Had a reservation at 8. Weren't seated until 8:45. Service was very slow, and all of the staff just looked stressed. Ended up just getting drinks and leaving once we realized we probably wouldn't get our food until close to 10pm.

This was our 2nd year for Valentine's Day and I was a bit disappointed in service. the Food was very good but 2 drinks were wrong and service very slow. Last year they gave each lady a rose not this year. Maybe they are cutting on costs.
We love this restaurant. Easy to park at the SC Inn. Excellent food and drinks. Friendly, helpful staff and the chef often checks on the tables. Maybe the best poutine we've ever had.

Great restaurant. Hidden gem and not loud at all. We had a table for 7 and the server was great. The pre dinner drinks were flavorful - Casa Romantica was a big hit with the group. The appetizers were great and also filling - tempura green beans; chicken Rivi bites and calamari. All great. Scallops special was tasty. Mahi mahi was delicious along with salmon. I had steak frites with a 2019 Bordeaux. Wonderful. Topped it off with 30-yr port and a variety of desserts. Absolutely will come again!

This place is a total hidden gem. The menu is incredibly well crafted, and the cocktails are fun and unique! Great bar and impeccable service all around! Happy hour is a great time to get some drinks and try the appetizers! Menu is upscale but approachable! Great space for parties of any size and special occasions!

Bait and switch restaurant. None of the professional pictures of dishes on the website are actually on the menu... no scallops, no caviar, no oysters, no duck, no mussels, no lamb, no octopus, no swordfish, etc.Bulk of the menu is just tacos and basic entrees like salmon or sea bass. Be warned.
