Romanos Pasta & Pizzeria

We come here frequently and have never had a bad meal. Their food is fantastic. My favorites are the salmon and pasta as well as a fantastic garlic chicken pizza. I am from out of town and every time I come to San Clemente, Romano’s is first on our list.

We love getting pizza here and we were able to have our dogs on the patio before but we went back today and they turned us away because we had our dog.

I am giving one star because I can’t give zero.
I do not recommend this place. We came in , the place was empty. The waiter told my family of 4 to sit anywhere we liked. Then he took our order and came back with our food in about 10 minutes never offered any drinks . We were shocked about how ridiculously small the plates were; as if was from the kids menu . I am not kidding , you could literally count the pieces of pasta. The waiter was too distracted on a face time phone call that he failed to notice that we finished the food and he still offered to go boxes.
I can only say that we hated eating in this place because there wasn’t enough food and it was expensive. We had to get more food on another restaurant. No wonder this place was empty.

Recently went to Romano’s on Saturday night with a couple friends of mine. We ordered garlic knots, spicy rigatoni vodka, lasagna, and a meat lover’s pizza. The food was incredible, the service was attentive, and the ambience was beautiful. We will certainly be returning! I highly recommend Romano’s for a cozy, relaxing, and delicious experience!

Amazing food, great prices! Parking and getting there is very easy. Ambiance is wonderful.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! You feel like you are in Italy, the food is European quality, so is the wine, best classic Sinatra and Etta James playing, fresh flowers, and the service is impeccable. HIGHLY recommend!

Came in here to meet with some old friends and I was blown away by the food and service I received. I will be making the drive down from Newport just for this place. Loved this place can’t recommend enough.

I love ❤️ Romanos. authentic Italian food ?. I been a different so called Italian places in san clemente. but We keep coming back here. Food is delicious ? ?. Service is very personal, and they always take time and makes things happen. I highly recommend Romanos. ? ? ? ?

What makes this place great is the amazing small cozy atmosphere, free garlic bread with marinara sauce, reasonable prices, and amazing service. We didn’t get any pastas this time but you can’t go wrong with any of there options. If we were to recommend a pizza get the Margarita. Overall this is amazing restaurant that we highly recommend and nothing better than supporting a small family business.

First visit, I had the Meat Lovers pizza (pepperoni, sausage, ham, meatball).Very good, large enough to take 1/2 home.Table rolls with warmed marinara sauce was a nice touch.Even the dining area music was good.Good, friendly service by Raul.Recommended.

This restaurant has no respect for ItalyI ordered Chicken Parmesan AlfredoThe pasta was not given enough time to cook completely. The chicken was fried while it was still frozen, and the result was definitely disgusting.??The worst experience I have ever had in my life. This place has absolutely no experience at all in cooking, especially pasta.Stop lying and deceiving , Cook & Serve the customer like it’s your own food.
