Outstanding food. Got burritos, breakfast burritos, quesadillas, and chips. Great flavor, sauces were nice and varried (not just the same sauce with a bit more spice). Easy to stop at off the freeway. Cool vibes and decor. Highly recommend stopping in.
Great tacos, limited parking, but food is amazing
there was a bone in my chicken tacos:( and flavor was lacking
Sancho’s Tacos is hands down one of the best taco spots I’ve ever been to! From the moment I walked in, the customer service was top-notch—friendly, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about their food. You can tell this place cares about creating a great experience.
Now let’s talk food. The quality and flavor are on another level. Everything is fresh, perfectly seasoned, and bursting with flavor. The salsas alone are worth the trip—each one with its own personality. The Verde is bright and tangy, the Red brings the heat, the Cubbie has this incredible smoky depth, and the 5150… that one’s wild in the best way!
The Cali Guey and Surf & Turf burritos? Absolute beasts. Packed with flavor, perfectly balanced, and filling without being heavy. The Founder Pounder is a must-try—bold, satisfying, and just plain delicious. And don’t sleep on the shrimp tacos—crispy, juicy, and loaded with flavor.
If you're anywhere near Sancho’s, do yourself a favor and stop by. Highly recommend this place! Great vibes, amazing food, and service that makes you feel like family.
Damn good burritos in San Clemente. These are huge and very tasty. The breakfast burrito can keep you going for most of the day. Well worth it,
Super expensive, wicked small portions, 8-9$ a taco, even the churros, 11$ for 2 inch churros. Wouldn’t go back, 👎🏻👎🏻
Not inexpensive, but California and Surf n Turf burritos were on point! Salsas were equally flavorful.
Service was good. Wasn't the biggest fan of the OG flavoring. Feels like more like fusion that traditional tacos. Would recommend though!
Always quick always good grabbed lots of bottles of the chubby sauce for gifts
Good tacos good burritos small parking expensive but the environment is nice close to the beach

Sanchos has been an absolute staple of mine for beer battered fish tacos for years! The quality of the fish in the pounders carnal taco and all the extras they add in it is simply unmatched and I haven’t found a place that does it better, believe me I actually go looking. Their chips and guacamole are also another staple, fresh hot chips and guacamole is seasoned great. I always get a side of chubby sauce too, adds for a sweet kick. The beach weather is great, food is great, I highly recommend it!

Too much rice and beans, very little meat in the burrito.

A+ This place is awesome! The atmosphere is like old school tattoo cholo culture sprinkled with 18th century Mexico and a bit of Americana, then some crazy pirate type stuff just for fun. I got a CaliGuey Burrito and my 12 year old got a kid's bean and cheese burrito, which he always gets when we eat Mexican. We are both picky about our burritos (he hates Chipotle and Del Taco, and I hate Taco Bell). We both agreed these were the best burritos we've had in a long time. The whole dining experience, they were playing classic rock, and we were quizzing each other on the music as we gushed about how much fun we were having. Oh, and the salsa is ?. Even my boy loved the Chubbie, and he isn't usually down with salsa unless it's Ricardo's or Miguel's Jr -- and he said he liked it better than both. This place rocks! We will definitely be a regular here. Super rad joint. My ONLY disappointment was that I wanted to buy a bottle of the Chubbie to take home for him, but one little bottle was $15! ? Even at $12 it would have been a little rough, but I probably would have done it. For some reason $15 just rubbed me weird. Lower the salsa price! ? overall beautiful place, great food, but a bit overpriced. I'll still throw 5 stars. Blessings my friends and good luck.
